4PM

Newsome Wolves vs Strawberry Crest Chargers
*Chargers defeated the Wolves 6-2

2021 RHP Bryan Boully (Strawberry Crest HS, FL)
Stocky 6’2 205 pound frame that showed good downward action to the fastball. Live arm, worked both sides of the plate and added a slider that had tight spin. FAU commit.

2022 1B/3B Evan Wainman (Newsome HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Made some tough plays at 3B, along with going 3-3 with an RBI Double. Good pop off the bat and great discipline at the plate.

2023 Arjun Nimmala SS (Strawberry Crest HS, FL)
Big power at the plate. Knocked a deep shot off the left field wall for an RBI Double. Very effortless swing as well and good pop. Showed a strong arm across the diamond as well. Very high ceiling as he continues to develop. FSU Commit.

2023 Zach Redner RHP/INF (Strawberry Crest HS, FL)
Short and compact swing, went 2-4 with 2 singles to Right Field with an RBI tonight as well. On the mound, slight leg kick followed with quick arm side run. Good bite to the Slider. High Follow.

2023 RHP Alex Philpott (Newsome HS, FL)
Came in relief and had a strong appearance. Threw 1 ⅔ with 3 K’s. Showed a live arm and shows lots of promise as he develops. Uncommitted 6’5 170 frame with plenty of upside.

Gaither Cowboys vs Plant City Raiders
*Raiders defeated the Cowboys 4-0

2023 RHP Adan Longoria (Plant City HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Dominated the opposing lineup during his start and earned  the win with five innings pitched, 7 strikeouts, and allowing only one hit and one walk. Has gotten noticeably taller and the frame really projects. Featured a fastball that sat 83-84 mph, touching 85 multiple times along with a 70-72 mph slider. Easy arm action with a high ceiling and much more in the tank. Longoria is strong follow moving forward.

2022 IF Colin Shultz (Plant City HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Present strength throughout and can drive the ball with intent when he squares it up. Drove in the first run of the game as he chopped one over the 3B’s head for an RBI single. Shows a present feel for the barrel and has the ability to drive in runs consistently.

2022 C/IF Carson Mohler (Plant City HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with physicality. Two-way athlete who is also a QB on the gridiron. During one of his at-bats he drove a ball down the right field line for an RBI single. Mohler continues to show up and make an impact in the lineup.
