Robinson Knights vs Hillsborough Terriers
*Terriers defeated the Knights 10-4
2021 RHP Brady Burgess (Hillsborough HS, FL)
St. Petersburg College commit. Physical frame. Works out of a simple windup, present strength throughout. Featured a fastball that mostly sat 86-89 mph early on before settling in at 85-87 more most of his outing. Also mixed in an 81-82 mph changeup and a 65-68 mph curveball that he showed an above average feel for, throwing it for strikes and generating swings and misses. Attacks the hitter and competes every pitch. At times he can yank his pitches, but when he stays on line he can consistently find the zone. Arm that can still make some jumps.
2023 1B Elijah Burse (Hillsborough HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Big, strong frame. Was the hero on the day as he crushed a no-doubter grand slam over the left field scoreboard which put the Terriers ahead for good. Strong hands with present pull side juice. The ball can really go a long way when he connects.
2021 OF Kyle Bincarousky (Hillsborough HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame with room to fill out. Had a impactful day at the plate by finding a way on base, going 1-3 with 4 RBIs which included a two-run single that was laced into the left-center field gap. Quick hands from the right side, should see an increase in power as he continues to add to his frame, become more physical.
2022 1B/RHP Salvy Urso (Hillsborough HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall frame with some physicality. Had a standout day at the plate as he went 4-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Showed the ability to drive the ball with intent to the pull side while going the other way on one of his hits, driving the ball through the right side of the infield.
Wharton Wildcats vs Leto Falcons
*Wildcats defeated the Falcons 6-0
2022 RHP Evan Chrest (Wharton HS, FL)
Uncommitted with a 5’10 155 pound frame. Fastball has a ton of two seam movement. Has been up to 88 mph in previous events. Sharp slider to tag along. Very high ceiling and lots of room to fill as he develops. High Follow
2021 INF/RHP Zach Ehrhard (Wharton HS, FL)
Very athletic 6’0 185 pound frame that showed a very strong arm across the diamond. Showed good agility and good plate discipline. On the mound, Showed a low ¾ arm slot with late break. Sharp bite to the Curveball. The Oklahoma State Signee has a bright future and will be a strong follow this season.
2021 OF/RHP Dylan McDonald (Wharton HS, FL)
5’10 165 pound frame. Showed a strong plate appearance, going 4-5 with 2 singles, 3 runs scored, and 2 RBIs along with a pair of stolen bases. Homered as well. Short and compact swing, quick on the base paths. St.Leo commit.
2022 IF/OF Brayan Cruz (Leto HS, FL)
6’0 195 pound frame Went 2-3 with 2 doubles and showed lots of pop off the bat. Will continue to develop as he shows a very high ceiling with lots of room to fill.
