Standouts (Part 3 of 4)
2025 RHP Jacob Cali (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall frame with present physicality. Had stood out previously both during the high school and summer season for his upside on the mound. Quick arm and throws a heavy fastball that he ran up to 90 mph, mostly sitting 86-89. Throws both the changeup in the low 80s and slider in the upper 70s for strikes. Works down in the zone and hits his spots.
2025 1B Logan Inman (Lake Nona HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Big, physical frame that immediately stands out. Present power to anywhere on the field and can really drive the baseball with intent when he is on time. Has shown the ability to go the other way for base hits as well. Suited for an RBI spot in the lineup. Confident and solid actions around the bag at 1B. Moves well for his size, shows the ability to pick short throws to the bag.
2026 1B/RHP Andrew Barr (Lake Brantley HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame with some room to still fill out. Continued to stand out from an offensive perspective as he displayed loose, quick hands from the left side during his batting practice rounds. Drove the ball back up the middle and to the pull side on multiple pitches. Still more power to come, especially to the pull side. This translated to game action where he roped a ball down the right field line for a base hit. Strong and accurate throws across the diamond.
2026 C Colin Thacker (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Present physicality throughout, notably in the lower half. Offensively the hands are quick and strong through the zone, driving the ball deep into the gaps. Creates hard contact and a middle of the order bat. Continued to stand out defensively as well with accurate throws and an above average arm from behind the plate. Quick footwork, stays center.
2026 OF/LHP Trenton Ramsey (North Marion HS, FL)
Miami commit. Tall, physical frame and impacts the ball with fast, strong hands through the zone from the left side. Produced plenty of deep drives into right, right-center field during batting practice. Registered a top exit velocity of 99 mph and the ball really jumps off the bat. Look for him to continue progressing overall in his return from injury.
2026 RHP/UT Nate Wade (Tocoi Creek HS, FL)
Kennesaw State commit. Compact, athletic frame with a fast arm. Made another jump on the mound which was seen during his bullpen, running his fastball up to 90 mph. Mostly sat 86-89 while mixing in both the slider and curveball that showed depth in the mid to upper 70s. Developing changeup in the mid 80s as well. Throws his full arsenal for strikes, works quickly.
2027 MIF Jose Calzadilla (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame that will continue to fill out, become more physical which should translate to jumps in his overall game. Really liked the offensive upside as he drove the ball deep into left, left-center field during batting practice. Simple approach with quick hands from the right side.
2027 RHP/IF Gavin Greathouse (Trinity Catholic, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall and projectable frame. Stood out as a two-way prospect throughout the event both on the mound and offensively. Loose, quick arm that continues to make jumps as he featured a mid 80s fastball that paired well with his off-speed pitches. This translated to game action where he worked a scoreless frame while picking up a pair of strikeouts. Offensively there’s still more power to come with above average bat speed from the right side. This was also seen in game action when he laced a triple to deep right field. High quality swing that doesn’t get fooled by much.
2027 RHP Christian Lynch (Oviedo HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with projection. Easy working arm and more jumps to come. Features a fastball up to 86 mph, mostly sitting in the 82-85 range. Present feel for his off-speed stuff, most notably the curveball that shows depth, throws it for strikes. Works from a simple approach and stays in line to the plate on his delivery.
2027 RHP Lukas Stirewalt (West Orange HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic, projectable frame. Featured a loose, quick arm that featured a fastball in the low to mid 80s. Slider shows tighter spin and lands it for strikes while the changeup shows fade. Stays true to each pitch and locates at an above average level.
2028 IF/RHP Christian Kirtland (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Long, lean frame that will continue to fill out, translate to additional power offensively. Loose, quick hands from the left side and showed the ability to drive the ball to the pull side, back up the middle during batting practice. Upper 70s fastball on the mound as well. Lots to like moving forward.
