Standouts (Part 2 of 4)

2025 RHP Alexavier Lebron (Harmony HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Present physicality. Featured a heavy 86-88 mph fastball with life while mixing in a low 80s changeup, mid 70s slider that showed depth during his bullpen. During game action he threw a lot of strikes and competed with his fastball while throwing his off-speed stuff for strikes. Ball jumps out of his hand, still more to come.

2025 IF Erick Martinez (The First Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with a stronger lower half. Stood out from an offensive perspective during batting practice as he consistently drove the ball into the gaps, creating backspin. Continued to stand out defensively as he fields the ball under control and with confidence. Freely ranges to his left and right with accurate throws.

2026 MIF Fabian Antonsanti (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Strong lower half with athleticism. Continued to impress with his overall game. Offensively he displayed fast hands during batting practice with multiple line drives back up the middle and into the left-center field gap. Present feel for the barrel and stays on time. Up the middle he ranged freely to his right and left, fielding the ball under control with an accurate arm and topping out at 89 mph on his throws across the diamond.

2026 IF Malachi Meyers (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with room to still fill out. Really liked the offensive potential as the ball jumped off the bat and he showed power to all parts of the field during batting practice. Works in rhythm and stays balanced throughout his swing from the right side, using his fast hands to find the barrel. Extra base hitter who displays present pull side juice as well.

2026 OF/RHP Colson May (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Stood out as one of the top two-way prospects throughout the event. Started off by impressing during bullpens when he ran his fastball up to 87 mph, mostly sitting 84-86 with a present feel for both the breaking ball and changeup. Translated to game action where he struck out multiple batters in his inning of work. Offensively he uses the whole field with loose, quick hands from the right side to drive the baseball. During game action he worked a long at-bat with two strikes before finally lacing this one back up the middle for a single. Also displayed an above average arm from right field, topping out at 90 mph on his throws.

2026 RHP/OF Ethan Pate (Foundation Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Another top two-way standout at the event who made a noticeable jump on the mound. Featured a fastball up to 90 mph with life that jumped out of his hand, mostly sitting 86-89. Mixed in an upper 70s changeup with fade along with a slider with depth at 77-78 mph. Struck out a pair of batters in his inning of work during game action. Offensively during batting practice he roped the ball deep into the gaps. Stays quick and direct to the ball. Topped out at 90 mph on his throws from right field as well.

2026 C Grant Sheppard (Bishop Snyder HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Consistently stands out from a defensive perspective as he really knows how to command a game from behind the plate. Displayed a strong and accurate arm to the bag on his throws to 2B in the 1.92-1.97 secs pop time range. Strong wrists, receives well. Gunned down a runner at 3B during game action, showing off his quick catch and release. Throw was on the money and right to the glove. Offensively he provides power to both gaps, showing the ability to drive the ball the other way and to the pull side.

2027 C Johnny Parkinson (The First Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Offensively he showed off easy bat speed from the right side of the plate and some present power to left, left-center field during batting practice. This translated to game action where he drilled a ball down the line for a stand up double. A lot to like with his swing as he can swing for both contact and power. Behind the plate he displayed an above average arm with pop times in the 1.97-2.02 secs range.

2027 IF/RHP Ryder Simon (Winter Park HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Long and athletic frame with plenty of projection, room to fill out which will only enhance his high ceiling. Fast, loose arm that ran his fastball up to 90 mph, pitching at 85-89. Overpowered hitters during game action where he not only generated swings and misses with the fastball, but uncomfortable swings with his breaking ball in the mid 70s. Pitches with confidence. Offensively he displays easy power at the plate with great plate discipline from the right side. Also produced during game action when he rocketed a ball in the left-center field gap for an extra base hit.

2027 LHP/1B Cam Penney (Apopka HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with projection. Stout as a two-way as well both offensively and on the mound. From the left side of the plate he displayed the ability to really drive the baseball. Produced lots of deep drives back up the middle and into right-center field during batting practice. Still more pull side juice to come. On the mound he showed a loose arm, pitching in the mid 80s with his fastball along with some feel for his breaking stuff. Solid foundation with a controlled lower half that displays well with all pitches. Above average arm from the outfield too.

2028 IF/RHP Nolan Slaymaker (Columbia HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Easily was one of the most impressive players at the event as he stood out pretty much wherever he played throughout the weekend. Started off by showing off a big arm during his bullpen, running his fastball up to 89 mph with still plenty more to come. Ball explodes out of his hand and works downhill. This was also seen when he topped out at 90 mph on his throws across the diamond. Offensively, the hands are fast and strong through the zone from the right side. Supplied plenty of barrels during batting practice and demonstrated power to anywhere on the field. Middle of the order bat that is suited to drive in runs.

2028 OF/MIF Ethan Jackson (Eustis HS, FL)

Uncommitted. Above average athleticism, feel for the game for his age. Took a standout round of batting practice as he showed present power, sending multiple pitches to the center field, right-center field wall. Fast hands and finds the barrel often. Defensively he topped out at 87 mph on his throws from right field, mid 80s arm across the diamond.
