Mike’s Second Group
2026 OF/RHP Winston Pennant (Sumner HS, FL)
Ole Miss commit. Tall, athletic frame and looks to have become noticeably more physical. At the plate he delivers a short, controlled swing that generates loud, hard contact and drives the ball all over the field. The present power is there and along with extra base hits, always has the ability to change the game with one swing by putting it over the wall. RBI producer. In the field, he displays range and confidence with the ability to transition smoothly between infield and outfield positions. Above average arm and has been up to 90 mph on the mound as well. Continues to make big strides and should be another 2026 draft follow to bookmark.

Uncommitted. His delivery is smooth and well-coordinated, allowing him to repeat his motion which translated to a consistent command of the strike zone. Efficient use of his lower half that generates velocity with a balanced finish. Fast arm and featured a fastball that was heavy, consistently in the 85-86 range, touching 87. Look for jumps in gap-to-gap power as he continues to mature. Impact LHH.

Uncommitted. A Strong right-handed pitcher who uses his size and powerful arsenal to dominate hitters. During bullpens, his fastball sat at 84-86 mph and tops out at 87, with late life that makes it difficult to square up. He pairs it with a deceptive changeup at 76 and sharp breaking pitches, including a low-70s curveball and slider, giving him a diverse mix to keep batters off balance. Hartter’s ability to command all four pitches and attack hitters aggressively makes him a standout presence on the mound.

Cordova’s ability to locate his pitches effectively and mix speeds keeps hitters off balance, making him a tough competitor in any situation. His composure, combined with a strong work ethic and mound presence, makes him a reliable and impactful arm with great potential for continued development.

Defensively, his attention to detail shines through in his smooth footwork, quick hands, and strong throws, making him a reliable presence up the middle.
