Top 7 2027s

2027 MIF/RHP Sam Heintz (Clearwater Central Catholic, FL)

Was one of the top standouts as a two-way prospect with big potential. Loose, quick hands offensively that allow him to find the barrel often for base hits all over the field. During game action he drove a ball down the right field line and then flashed his above average speed rounding the bases for an inside-the-park home run. Up to 80 mph with his fastball on the mound with much more to come. Defensively he moves freely to his right and left with confident hands, accurate throws across the diamond. Very strong follow.

2027 IF/RHP Luke Brkljacic (Clearwater Central Catholic, FL)

Put together a pair of strong rounds of batting practice, driving the ball gap-to-gap. Present pull side juice as well. During game action he roped a ball back up the middle for a single. Drives the ball with intent. On the mound he displayed a fast arm, running his fastball up to 78 mph while mixing in a 64-65 mph curveball with tighter spin and a 67-68 mph changeup. Strong follow.

2027 IF/RHP Anthony Tenuto (Canterbury HS, FL)

Really liked the offensive upside from the switch-hitting infielder. Displayed a line drive approach from the right hand side while displaying loose, quick hands from the left hand side during batting practice. Chance for real pull side pop in the future, especially as his frame becomes more physical. Stood out during game action right away, driving this ball into right field for an RBI single. Low 80s on the bump too. Strong follow.

2027 IF/RHP Koleman Ragan (Jupiter HS, FL)

Physical frame and really stood out in multiple facets throughout the event as a two-way prospect. Offensively the ball really jumps off the bat and he swings with intent. Produced hard line drives to the pull side, back up the middle with present power during batting practice. On the mound he threw an impressive bullpen, pounding the strike zone while showing off an above average curveball with spin. Mostly sat 76-78 mph, touching 79 along with the breaking ball at 66-68. Plenty more in the tank.

2027 OF/IF/RHP Jake Henderson (Calvary Christian HS, FL)

Super utility player and really can do it all, play any position on the field at an above average level. On the mound the ball really jumps out of his hand. Fastball up to 82, mostly sitting 78-81. Mixed in a 71-72 mph slider with depth as well. During game action he went right after hitters, pounding the strike zone and generating multiple swings and misses. Offensively he works in rhythm and swings with aggression, intent to do damage. Quick hands and finds the barrel often. Defensively he can play up the middle, any outfield spot, and has a strong arm from behind the plate.

2027 C/1B Diego Connely (Osceola HS, FL)

Big, physical frame. Showed real power potential during batting practice as the ball exploded off his bat. Simple approach with minimal effort as the strong, quick hands worked through the zone. Found the barrel often for loud, deep drives to the left, left-center field wall. Registered multiple 90+ mph exit velocities. Power bat that will be driving in plenty of runs in the middle of the order.

2027 RHP Jake Burd (Calvary Christian HS, FL)

Lean, athletic frame that projects to fill out, add strength throughout. During bullpens he showed a quick arm and was balanced throughout his windup, delivery. Featured a fastball up to 77 mph with plenty more in there while mixing in a 67-68 mph curveball as well. Look for a significant jump in velocity over the next half year.
