2026 C/INF Christopher Brown (Ensworth HS, TN)
Chris impressed everyone with his easy flowing swing that provided a lot of power. His BP rounds were easily some of the best swings from the weekend. Had a slight load with his front foot which times perfectly with the ball getting to the plate. Strong Lower and upper half with a physical frame. On defense he showed his cannon for an arm behind the plate with lasers to 2B and 3B. His pop time sat at 1.91 and a high 70s release velo to each bag. This guy can flat out play and will have success at the high level with tons of time to develope everything even more. Must watch for this spring.
2025 INF Wyatt West (Dunnellon HS, FL)
Wyatt started turning coaches heads early on when he made a jump throw from the 5-6 hole on a line to 1B. He has a strong power half with an athletic frame. His footwork in the infield is above average and creates the perfect approach towards any ground ball. His MPH from shortstop was recorded at 82. With a strong arm, he can play anywhere in the infield. Offensively he is sharp, fine mechanics that stay consistent each swing. Quick bat speed with power to each part of the field. Truly an all around player that can be a vital asset to any lineup. Must follow.
2028 OF/RHP Cullen Garner (Lakeside Junior HS, FL)
Cullen showed that he can throw a ball hard whether it was in deep RF or on the mound. His abilities offensively are only going to improve, as he has quick bat speed and great mechanics. On the mound he showed a great fastball and curveball mix that left hitters unbalanced. Defensively he shows a lot of tools that are promising and that are going to be fun to watch him strengthen as time goes on. Moves his feet to fly balls and ground balls perfectly to give his body time to position for a laser of a throw. Definitely want to keep tabs on this talent as he starts his high school journey.
2027 C/INF/RHP Ethan Scheel (Brentwood HS,TN)
Ethan was on board as one of the best all around talent at the tryout. Very poised and calm approaches with everything he does on the field. He lets the game come to him. At Shortstop he showed range and a strong arm as he fielded ground balls with no issues. Behind the plate he showcased a 77mph throw down to 2B with accuracy. Great receiving mechanics and strong physical build. Offensively he presents a contact and power approach. He can hit to all parts of the field and adjust to pitch locations. Strong follow.
2025 RHP/INF Nathan Johnson (Lakewood Ranch HS, FL)
Nathan caught everyone’s eye with the way he could throw on the mound, not only is he tall and has a strong frame, he was able to locate his pitches with mixing in an off speed pitch. Gets ahead early and puts away hitters efficiently. Offensively he uses a strong lower half to use the whole field. Had a great outing in one of the scrimmages from Sunday and will be a strong follow for his upcoming spring season.
2028 C/INF Daniel Diaz (Orlando,FL)
Daniel has an athletic build with underrated strength. His baseball IQ and hustle is unmatched. Offensively he can put solid contact to any pitch. He showed his way of standing out at the plate with his double he hit in one of the games Sunday. Calm approach with raw power. Defensively he showed that can be a leader behind the plate along with his strong arm and ability to receive. He also hopped over to 1B and showed his athleticism there. Overall he is a fun watch on the field and will only get better as his high school years go on. Strong follow.
2026 RHP Cooper Leggett (Bixby HS, OK)
Cooper provides a presence on the mound that not many can possess. Standing at 6’5, he can mow down hitters whenever he feels like it. Tons of potential and overtime will truly develope even more. He creates a long stride that intimidates hitters. Fastball and offspeed work well off each other and location is elite. Must follow!
2025 C/INF/OF Sam Tomczak (Allatoona HS, GA)
Sam stood out differently than the rest and it wasn’t just because of his talent. His leadership and vocal abilities were the best in the tryout. He communicated every play and had a smile on his face the whole weekend. Offensively he ranged around a 82mph exit velo with quick bat speed. Can hit for contact and power when he wants to. Defensively behind the plate, he has elite control of the game. Recorded a 1.90 pop time with laser throws to 2B. All around great player and definitely someone a coach would want apart of their everyday lineup. Strong follow!
2029 SS/RHP Nathan Handley-White (Bradenton,FL)
Nathan by far was top 3 in the class of 2029 standouts. The way he could showcase his skills on defense and at the plate were impressive. Offensively Nate showed off his power in a game on Sunday with hitting a missile to LF for an Extra base hit which came on the 7th or 8th pitch of an extended At bay. Tall physical frame that gets the hands back and drives straight to the ball with authority. Defensively he shows that he can handle SS, his mechanics roll smoothly right into his forward throwing motion to make strong throws to 1B. Keep an eye out for him for sure.
2027 C/1B Fraydner Albornoz (Orlando,FL)
Fraydner, a physical tall build that has great lower and upper half strength can move very well. On the offensive side, his BP rounds were hitting every part of the field on a line. Linedrives to each gap and even went down and got some pitches below the zone. He was very strong with his hands and didn’t let anything fool him. Behind the plate he received at an average level and displayed a power arm to 2B. Shows a lot of potential.
