Top 10 Performers

2023 C/RHP Derek Lopez (Olympia HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 165 pounds on a lean, athletic frame with room to fill out. Lopez continued to stand out as a two-way prospect, displaying multiple above average tools throughout the event. Started off the day by clocking in at 6.83 seconds for his 60 yard dash time. Defensively, his throws down to the bag were accurate and had carry with pop times in the 1.90-1.95 seconds range. The switch hitting catcher then showed present bat speed from both sides of the plate, driving the ball gap-to-gap. Also displayed present pull side pop from the right side, driving the ball deep into left field and to the wall. On the mound, he showed a fast arm and topped out at 85 mph on his fastball with a feel for his off-speed stuff. Lopez can impact the game in so many ways throughout the lineup and should be one of the top uncommitted two-way prospects for his class heading into the fall.

2023 1B Vance Celiberti (JW Mitchell HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 195 pounds with present strength throughout. Celiberti took one of the more impressive batting practice rounds on the day from the left side, displaying fast hands and working in rhythm. Level to uphill path through the zone that finds the barrel often for loud, hard hits deep into right and right-center field. Present pull side pop as well. Defensively, he showed solid actions around the bag at first with throws across the diamond topping out at 83 mph. Strong left handed bat to follow moving forward.

2023 C Conner Spelman (Lake Howell HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds on a tall, physical frame, especially in the lower half. Spelman was a difference maker over the summer in multiple ways throughout the lineup and continued to show why throughout the event. Offensively, he has above average bat speed through the zone and can really drive the ball with intent, creating gap-to-gap power. Has the ability to drive the ball deep for extra base run scoring hits. When he’s on time the ball really jumps off the bat. Pop times ranged from 1.95-2.03 seconds behind the plate with accuracy. Threw out multiple runners over the summer as well. Very strong follow heading into the fall.

2022 OF Dylan Bowen (Winter Haven HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds on a lean, athletic frame that projects to fill out. Plus runner who started off the day by clocking in at 6.41 seconds for his 60 yard dash with quick, athletic strides. This translates in-game as he has the ability to steal multiple bases during a sequence of pitches, cut down balls in the gaps defensively. Offensively, he displayed above average bat speed from the right side and can drive the ball gap-to-gap when he’s on time. Showed present pull side juice with a couple going over the left-center field wall during batting practice. From the outfield he displayed accurate, on-line throws that topped out at 88 mph to the bag. Bowen has multiple above average tools and continues to be a very strong follow for his class. Still shows the ability to make additional jumps in his overall game as he continues to strengthen his frame.

2022 IF Christian Soto (Sunshine State Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds with present strength throughout. Displayed confident hands, actions up the middle during defensive drills with accurate throws across the diamond. Offensively, he works from a simple approach with above average bat speed and a feel for the barrel. Uses his lower half to generate additional power and looks to drive the ball to the pull side. Stays balanced throughout and has shown the ability to hit higher velocity in the past. Strong uncommitted bat to follow heading into the fall

2025 C Hunter Demetree (Orangewood Christian, FL)
Currently stands at 5-foot-8, 160 pounds on an athletic frame with a stronger lower half. Still plenty of room for growth which will result in jumps in his overall game. Really stood out from a defensive perspective from behind the plate as he showed a strong arm with quick footwork. Pop times were in the 1.95-2.01 seconds range and the throws were accurate and to the bag. Offensively, he displayed quick hands and was able to drive the ball back up the middle for multiple line drives.

2022 OF Ty Jones (Tampa Prep, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds on a lean frame with room to fill out and become more physical. Jones showed off one of the strongest arms of the day, topping out at 90 mph on his throws from right field during defensive drills. Loose, easy arm action and the ball really came out of his hand easy. There’s still more in there. Offensively he displayed present bat speed from the right side, driving the ball back up the middle. More power to come as he continues to fill out.

2024 OF/RHP Kaiden Lopez (Oviedo HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-10-160 pounds on a compact, athletic frame. Lopez was one of the top standouts in attendance as he showed lots potential all over the field. From the outfield he showed off a big arm, topping out at 90 mph on his throws from right field during defensive drills. Plenty of carry and the throws were accurate. Offensively, he barreled it up with loud, hard contact for numerous line drives during batting practice from the right side. Simple approach and showed confidence in the box. On the mound he ran his fastball up to 85 mph, but his best pitch was his changeup which is already an above average pitch with fade. Very strong follow.

2023 C Nolan Fitzpatrick (Osceola Fundamental, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds on a taller, athletic frame with room to still fill out and add physicality. Above average bat speed from the right side and drives the ball into the gaps with hard hit line drives to the pull side. Also showed some present power when he put one over the left-center field wall during batting practice. There’s still more power to come, especially as he continues to fill out. Strong, accurate arm from behind the plate with pop times in the 1.92-1.99 seconds range. Uncommitted backstop who can make an impact offensively by driving in runs.

2023 MIF Caleb Scott (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)
Lipscomb commit. Currently stands at 5-foot-10, 155 pounds on a lean, athletic frame with room to still fill out. The switch hitting middle infielder shows plenty of bat speed from both sides of the the plate, notably from the left and works gap-to-gap that produces numerous line drives. Stays balanced and trusts his hands through the zone. Defensively, he shows confident hands up the middle defensively with smooth, athletic actions. Ranges backhand and forehand with ease. Scott is a top of the lineup hitter who makes the plays up the middle consistently.
