2022s

2022 OF/RHP Sammy Seplowe (Alonso HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, loose, athletic frame. Stood out defensively from the outfield when he showed off a strong and accurate arm during defensive drills, topping out at 89 on his throws from right field. Ranges to the ball and gets in a quality position by getting behind the ball with a good crow hop. Also displayed quick hands during batting practice on Friday night, driving several line drives back up the middle.

2022 LHP Nicholas DelNegro (JW Mitchell HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean frame with room to fill out. While DelNegro may not be a high velocity pitcher at the moment, he has a high level of pitchability and can really get into a groove. Throws a high percentage of strikes, keeping the ball low and away in the strike zone. Induces lots of weak contact along with off-balance swings, gets outs. Present feel for all his pitches in the arsenal.

2022 RHP Anthony Beaton (Wesley Chapel HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Big, strong frame. Was impressive in his inning of work where he racked up multiple strikeouts, generating a number of swings and misses. Mostly sat 82-83 mph with his fastball, touching 84 with some run while mixing in a 76-77 mph slider. Durable frame that should be able to log lots of innings. There’s more in the tank from a velocity standpoint, especially as he starts to implement his lower half more and drive to the plate.

2022 OF Dylan DeGusipe (Jefferson HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Long, lean frame with room to fill out. Stood out offensively during game play as he got ahold of one and roped a line drive over the left fielder’s head for a triple. Quick hands through the zone and stayed direct to the ball. There’s more power to come which should translate to some additional pull side juice.

2022 RHP Nick Saccasyn (Palm Harbor University, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall, extra large frame standing at 6-foot-6 with present strength throughout. Stood out in his inning of work on the mound where he featured a fastball that sat 84-86 mph, touching 87. Also mixed in a breaking ball at times, but went heavily with the fastball. There’s more in the tank especially as he continues to refine his mechanics and release point while working in some off-speed stuff.

2022 1B/OF Amai Rivera-Martinez (Northeast HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Long, lean frame with room to fill out and strengthen his frame. Really stood out defensively around the bag at first as he showed above average footwork, gets into the right position quickly. Fields the ball under control and can pick it. Offensively, he displayed above average bat speed from the left side, driving the ball back up the middle and to the pull side. There’s more power in there. The potential is there for Rivera-Martinez to make some jumps moving forward.

2022 C Jace Trautner (JW Mitchell HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall, strong frame, durable to log plenty of innings behind the plate. Trautner continued to stand out defensively as he registered pop times in the 1.98-2.05 seconds range and throws down to the bag topping out at 79 mph. Receives well and has the ability to keep base runners honest, throw them out with quick, accurate throws. Offensively, his present strength translates to him impacting the ball consistently with loud, hard contact. Ball jumps off the bat when he's on time.

2023s

2023 MIF/RHP Landen Maroudis (Calvary Christian HS, FL)
North Carolina State commit. Lean, athletic frame with projection. Continues to be a very high follow as a two-way prospect with the ability to play multiple positions at an above average level. On Friday night during batting practice he consistently barreled the ball up for loud, hard contact. Multiple hard line drives back up the middle, has shown to be a gap-to-gap extra base hitter in the past. Up the middle defensively he makes the plays, funnels the ball up into his glove, and makes a strong and accurate throw to the bag. Was up to 87 mph on the mound, but has been up to 89 recently and expect Maroudis to be in the low 90s come high school season. There’s lots to like about Maroudis with more jumps to come.

2023 C Kodi Deskins (Clearwater Central Catholic, FL)
Miami commit. Athletic frame with a stronger lower half. During batting practice on Friday night he consistently found the barrel for hard line drives up the middle. Able to implement his lower half to drive the ball with intent. Above average defender behind the plate who receives well and keeps the ball in front of him. Throws down to the bag are accurate and on line with pop times in the 1.96-2.02 seconds range.

2023 MIF Steven “Monster” Milam (Centennial HS, NM)
Louisiana State commit. Athletic, compact frame, has become noticeably stronger in his lower half. Offensively he displayed fast hands from both sides of the plate with a smooth, easy swing that produced multiple line drives off the barrel. Easy, athletic actions up the middle defensively and ranges easily backhand and forehand fielding the ball under control with accurate throws to the bag. Above average runner on the base paths, top of the lineup player.

2023 RHP Liam Peterson (Countryside HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall, projectable frame with room to fill out. Strong arm to follow moving forward as he ran his fastball up to 89 mph, sitting 86-88 while mixing in a 64-66 mph curveball with some depth. Loose, quick arm and the ball jumps out of his hand. Look for Peterson to make some additional jumps velocity wise, especially as he continues to fill out.

2023 C Colton Wombles (Russell County HS, AL)
Auburn commit. Compact, durable frame with quick twitch. Above average defender behind the plate with strong wrists, gets into an athletic position to receive the ball. Pop times ranged in the 1.85-1.89 seconds range with a very quick transfer. Offensively he creates hard contact off the bat with present bat speed through the zone from the right side. Some present pull side pop as well. Clocked in at 6.86 seconds for his 60 yard dash time.

2024/2025s

2024 OF/RHP Anthony Gualemi (River Ridge HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall, lean frame with projection. Above average athlete who clocked in at 6.72 seconds for his 60 yard dash time with long, athletic strides. Offensively he has quick hands through the zone with a level to uphill path on his finish from the left side, generating multiple line drives back up the middle and to the pull side. There’s more power, especially to the pull side as he continues to fill out. From the outfield he had on line and accurate throws to third and home, topping out at 84 mph. On the mound he ran his fastball up to 85 mph, mostly sitting in the 82-84 range along with a low 70s slider.

2024 MIF Jack Clark (Jesuit HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame with some present quick twitch actions. Showed off his plus speed for his class, clocking in at 6.56 seconds for his 60 yard dash time. During batting practice he displayed quick hands and some feel for the barrel, squaring the ball up several times for solid contact off the bat. Up the middle he fields the ball under control and with confidence, making accurate throws to first.

2024 OF Chase Nystrom (JW Mitchell HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean frame with present athleticism. Really stood out during defensive drills as he showed off a big arm, topping out at 90 mph on his throws to third and home from right field. The ball really comes out of his hand easy with plenty of accuracy. Also registered a time of 6.75 secs for his 60 yard dash. Offensively, there’s some present bat speed and with added strength should see jumps in power. Strong follow.

2024 MIF Cole Huddleston (Palm Harbor University, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame. Stood out offensively with some serious bat speed and fast hands through the zone. Works out of an open stance and the ball really explodes off the bat with loud contact. There’s more power in there with gap-to-gap potential. Makes the plays up the middle with confident hands.

2024 1B/RHP Jayden Harriel (East Lake HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall, physical frame with a stronger lower half. Offensively he really swings with intent and looks to impact the baseball with hard contact. Some present power, especially to the pull side but there’s even more to come as he continues to mature. Also displayed an above average arm with his throws topping out at 81 mph across the diamond.

2025 C Mitchell Rodriguez (TNXL Academy Tampa, FL)
While Rodriguez may have been one of the youngest players in attendance, he not only held his own, but was a major standout offensively. Showed easy bat speed from the left side with a balanced approach, finding the barrel often during batting practice. Really works in rhythm and produced multiple line drives back up the middle. Behind the plate his throws down to the bag were in the 2.14-2.20 seconds range. Young bat to keep a close eye on moving forward.
