2022s

2022 IF Matt Rose (Calvary Christian HS, FL)
Committed to the University of South Florida during the event. Rose has been highlighted as a standout consistently and continued to show why over the weekend. Showed off his above average athleticism by clocking in at 6.64 seconds for his 60 yard dash time. Offensively, he displayed quick hands and a balanced approach with the ability to drive the ball gap-to-gap. This was seen during game play when he crushed a ball over the right fielder’s head for a triple before following it up with a line drive RBI single up the middle. Throws across the diamond are accurate, topping out at 86 mph. Rose really can make an impact in multiple ways throughout the lineup.

2022 IF Chris Roberts (Steinbrenner HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Has become noticeably more physical, especially in his lower half. Really stood out over the weekend offensively not only Friday night during batting practice, but during game play as well. Above average bat speed and creates loud, hard contact when he squares it up. Able to use his strong lower half to generate power. Drove a ball deep into left-center field and over the head of the center fielder for a double and triple respectively during his two at-bats during game play. Defensively, he fields the ball with confidence and makes the plays with an accurate throw to the bag.

2022 C Hayden Cockman (Sunlake HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Physical frame with a stronger lower half. Above average defender behind the plate who has strong wrists, receives well, and deadens pitches in the dirt. Above average arm with accuracy and carry on his throws with pop times in the 1.97-2.03 seconds range. Threw out multiple runners during game play. Offensively, he has strong hands through the zone and can impact the ball with intent for hard contact. Some present juice. Delivered a single through the left side of the infield during game play. Clocked in at 6.75 seconds for his 60 yard dash time.

2022 OF/UT Quentin Meadows (Wharton HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with some present strength throughout. Meadows continued to stand out offensively with above average bat speed through the zone and driving the ball with intent. Ball really jumps off the bat with intent, when he squares it up showing some present power and gap-to-gap potential.  Profiles as a corner guy in the outfield with offensive juice.

2022 OF Jake Vildostegui (Steinbrenner HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame with room to still fill out. Stood out offensively as he displayed loose, quick hands through the zone. Drove the ball back up the middle for hard line drives consistently during batting practice. There’s still more power to come as he continues to strengthen his frame. Clocked in at 7.16 seconds for his 60 yard dash time.

2023s

2023 OF/LHP Wes Mendes (Jesuit HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with a stronger lower half. Had one of if not the best overall weekends of any player as he showed off some multiple above average tools with big potential. Clocked in at 6.67 seconds for his 60 yard dash with quick, athletic strides. Offensively, he found the barrel often from the right side with quick hands and a confident approach. Produced multiple line drives during batting practice. From the outfield he showed off a big arm, topping out at 91 mph with carry and accuracy on his throws. On the mound, he featured a fastball that sat 87-88 mph, touching 89 with more in the tank. Mendes has really taken some major strides and is a very strong follow. Lots to like moving forward.

2023 OF/RHP Aidan Miller (JW Mitchell HS, FL)
Arkansas commit. Physical, athletic frame with present strength throughout. Continued to show why he is one of the top follows in his class nationally. Offensively he utilizes his strong lower half to drive the baseball with easy bat speed through the zone. Consistently finds the barrel and the ball explodes off the bat. Miller can lace a ball deep into the gaps for an extra base hit or put one over the wall with his present power. Throws from the outfield had plenty of carry, topping out at 91 mph. On the mound, he has a very quick arm and ran his fastball up to 93 mph, mostly sitting 89-92 in his brief inning of work. Some present feel for his off-speed stuff as well. Miller is a major force in the lineup as he can greatly impact the game at a high level in a multitude of ways.

2023 MIF/RHP Cade Kurland (Berkeley Prep, FL)
Florida commit. Present athleticism with an above average feel for the game. Displayed lightning quick hands through the zone offensively, creating loud, hard contact. Ball jumps off the bat, gap-to-gap hitter who can deliver multiple extra base hits. Stays balanced and trusts his hands. Above average runner who clocked in at 6.86 seconds for his 60 yard dash, gets good jumps on the base paths. Strong defender up the middle who moves freely to his left and right, fielding the ball under control and with confidence. Topped out at 91 mph across the diamond on his throws to first base. High follow.

2023 OF/RHP Jake Bechtel (East Lake HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Long, tall frame with room to fill out. Displayed some present power during batting practice to the pull side while also driving the ball back up the middle consistently. Throws from the outfield were on line and accurate, topping out at 86 mph. On the mound he displayed a fastball that sat 80-82 mph while mixing in a low 70s curveball. There’s more in the tank and expect some upticks in velocity as he continues to mature.

2024s

2024 OF/LHP McCall Biemiller (Jesuit HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame with room to fill out and strengthen his frame. Showed plenty of potential as a strong two-way follow moving forward. Above average runner who clocked in at 6.77 seconds for his 60 yard dash time. Offensively, he took a very impressive round of batting practice as he consistently squared it up for loud contact with a confident, balanced approach from the right side. Displayed some present pull side pop as well. From the outfield he had low and accurate throws to the bag that topped out at 85 mph. On the mound he featured a fastball that sat 80-83 mph, touching 84. Biemiller’s game will only continue to trend upward with plenty of upside as he continues to mature.

2024 OF/IF DJ Pirela (Jesuit HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean frame. Quick twitch, above average athlete. Really can play anywhere on the field and make an impact. Offensively, he has present bat speed from the right side and is a top of the lineup hitter who can drive the ball consistently for a base hit. Gets out of the box with intent and looks to take the extra base. Clocked in at 6.77 secs for his 60 yard dash time. Confident defender who makes on line and accurate throws both in the outfield and infield. Gamer.

2024 1B Frank Chiliberti (Alonso HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with a stronger lower half. Stood out offensively from the left side of the plate during batting practice as he was able to square up the ball several times for pull side pop, driving the ball with intent. Works in rhythm with quick hands. At times he can be out in front, but when he is on time he was able to drive the ball.

2024 OF Zane Pestalozzi (Jesuit HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame with room to still fill out. Showed off his above average speed by running one of the fastest 60 yard dash times at 6.58 seconds. Really can fly out of the box. Defensively, his throws to the bag were accurate and topped out at 81 mph and was able to range to the ball and get behind his throws. Quick hands in the box with more power to come as he continues to fill out.

2024 IF Jack Earnest (Jesuit HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Taller, lean, athletic frame with more power to come. Stood out offensively on Friday night as he was able to drive the ball back up the middle multiple times during batting practice. Works from a simple approach with some feel for the barrel. There’s more gap-to-gap power to come. Defensively, he showed off a loose, quick arm from the outfield topping out at 82 mph on his throws to home.
