Tigers Head into the Regional Semifinal on Cruise Control After 7-1 Win Against Brandon
It was a clear night at Hyer Family Park as 2021 LHP Dominic Castellano took the mound for the Jesuit Tigers against 2021 RHP Marcos Herrand.

The Eagles had some action going in the 1st, after a lead off single from 2021 INF Daniel Santana, a single from 2021 OF and Lake-Sumter State signee Kendal Spencer, and a pair of walks to 2022 INF Joshua Blake and 2021 Marcos Herrand would give the Eagles an early 1-0 lead.
Jesuit decided to immediately strike back in the first. Lead off hitter and 2021 INF Bradke Lowry walked, followed by a 2021 BJ Graham double in the gap brought up 2021 Cole Russo, who drove in both Lowry and Graham to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead. After a single from 2023 Jake Kulikowski, 2021 Nick Rodriguez knocked a 2-run double down the left field line to drive in both Russo and Kulikowski to extend the lead to 4-1.
Dominic Castellano settled in after tossing 4 innings allowing only 2 hits on 1 run, along with 6 strikeouts. 2022 LHP Jamie Arnold would toss 2 strong innings in relief and striking out 4, and 2021 Kris Sosnowski would close out the 7-1 victory. The Tigers put together 13 hits over 7 runs, as now they will face Jefferson High School next week.

Was in the DH spot last night, went 1-2 lacing a double in the right-center gap in the 1st inning. Was making hard contact all night. Good bat speed, keeps good balance at the plate as well. Batting a .343 with 20 RBI's this season. Tulane Signee
2022 LHP Jamie Arnold (Jesuit)
Came in relief for 2 hitless innings, striking out 4. 3/4 arm slot, kept hitters off balance throughout his outing. Good life to the FB as well. Has lots of room to fill in with a very high ceiling. Will be a close follow. FSU Commit
2021 C Cole Russo (Jesuit)
Quick bat speed at the plate, good patience and was able to deliver hits to both sides of the field. Good pop off the bat as well. Continues to show good power throughout the season. 2 RBI's and 2-3 at the plate, along with throwing out a runner out at 2nd. Quick release and good arm strength. UCF Signee
2021 OF Nick Rodriguez (Jesuit)
Had a spectacular night at the plate, going 4-4 with 3 RBI's. Came into last night batting a .325 with 1 HR on the season with 25 RBI's. Has been very exciting to watch this season and shows a high ceiling with room to fill. Charleston Southern Signee
