Power Baseball 2024 Summer Season Tryout Camp Standouts Part 1
From January 12th-14th, Power Baseball held their 2024 Summer Teams Tryout Camp which took place at the Turn2 Sports and Performance Center along with Lake Brantley HS in Orlando, FL. Over the three-day stretch players went through bullpens, a pro-style workout, and game action. With over 300 players in attendance ranging from the 2025-2027 classes, there was tons of talent all over the field.
Below is Part 1 of the standouts highlighted from the event that made an impact on our scouting staff and will be strong follows moving forward as we head into the spring season.

2025 OF Kai Lwin (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)
FAU commit. Currently stands at 6-foot, 200 pounds with present strength throughout and can really drive the baseball. Fast, quick hands through the zone from the left side and finds the barrel often. Produced plenty of deep line drives into right, right-center field during his batting practice rounds. Extra base hitter who also displays present pull side juice. Above average arm from the outfield that tops out at 90 mph on his throws. Strong follow.
2025 1B Logan Inman (Lake Nona HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Has a tall, physical frame at 6-foot-2, 210 pounds with big power potential offensively. Above average bat speed and swings with intent, looking to drive the ball deep into the gaps. Ball jumps off the bat and is suited for the heart of the lineup to drive in runs. Displays good footwork around the bag and fields the ball under control and with confidence. Accurate throws across the diamond both to 2B and 3B. Strong follow.
2025 C Kai So (Buchholz HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds with a strong lower half. Stood out as a switch-hitting backstop with a big arm from behind the plate. Offensively he displayed above average bat speed from both sides of the plate, most notably from the left side with lots of hard line drives deep into right field. Registered a top exit velocity of 95 mph. From behind the plate his throws to the bag were on-line and accurate with carry, topping out at 80 mph with a best pop time of 1.94 seconds. Strong follow.
2025 IF Carlos Rubio (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-8, 165 pounds on a compact, athletic frame. Displayed loose, quick hands from the left side of the plate and sprayed the ball all over the field during batting practice. Simple approach and lets his hands do the work. Shows the ability to range to his right and left, makes the plays up the middle as well. Strong follow.
2025 LHP 2025 Thomas Achey (The First Academy, FL)
Stetson commit. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds with strength in the lower half. Quick arm and stays balanced throughout his delivery, Featured a fastball that was up to 86 mph with more to come, mostly sitting 82-85. Works the bottom of the zone. Also displayed a curveball that sits at 71-74 mph and 2350+RPM, 77-78 mph changeup. Present feel for all his pitches, mixes them up well. Strong follow.
2025 RHP/IF Rhys Rego (Freedom HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-10, 180 pounds with some present physicality, notably in the upper half. During batting practice he showed quick hands from the right side of the plate, swinging with intent and looking to drive the ball back up the middle and to the pull side. On the mound he featured a fastball up to 83 mph while mixing in an upper 70s slider and changeup. Still more in the tank on the mound. Strong follow.
2026 RHP/IF/UT Nate Wade (Tocoi Creek HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-10, 145 on a lean, athletic frame. Showed the ability to play multiple positions on the field at a high level. On the mound he has a whippy, quick arm and runs his fastball up to 89 mph. Mostly sits at 85-88 and showed a present feel for both his 76-77 mph slider and 71-72 mph curveball. Mixed in an upper 70s changeup too. Struck out multiple batters during game action. Offensively he stays quick and direct to the ball, allowing him to produce line drives all over the field. During game action he had two base hits. Up the middle and in the outfield defensively his throws to the bag both showed carry and accuracy with above average footwork. Very strong follow this spring.
2026 RHP/C Sebastian Echeverry (St. Cloud HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 195 pounds with a strong lower half. Was impressive on the mound both during bullpens and game action. Featured a fastball up to 90 mph that sits at 87-89 and really jumps out of his hand. Mixes in an 80-81 mph slider with bite and a 72-73 mph curveball with depth. Occasionally will mix in a low 70s knuckleball that will force off-balance swings. Struck out multiple batters during the game. Big arm from behind the plate as well with a best pop time of 1.97 seconds and topped out at 78 mph on his throws to the bag. Present bat speed with juice from the right side of the plate. Very strong follow.
2026 1B/LHP Tony Marshowsky (Foundation Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 180 pounds on a frame that will continue to add strength. Really stood out offensively from the left side of the plate as he demonstrated easy pull side juice multiple line drives deep into right, right-center field. Works in rhythm and has a confident approach. Showed solid actions around the bag at 1B with accurate throws across the diamond. Strong follow.
2026 OF/LHP Brody Kraft (Yulee HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 165 pounds on an athletic frame that will continue to fill out. Loose, quick hands from the left side of the plate and worked the pull side, up the middle during batting practice. This translated to game action where he jumped all over the first pitch he saw, lacing a ball back up the middle for a single. Also topped out at 86 mph on his throws from right field during defensive drills. On the mound he was up to 83 mph with his fastball while showing a feel for both his changeup and breaking ball. Strong follow.
2026 IF Ayden Ramos (Tocoi Creek HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds with a physical lower half. Stood out from the right side during batting practice as he displayed above average bat speed with several deep drives into left-center field. Implements his lower half into his swing, generating power. 80 mph across the diamond in the infield along with topping out at 84 mph from the outfield. Strong follow.
2026 RHP Joseph Kraus (Lake Mary HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 181 pounds on a tall frame that projects. Loose, easy working arm. Shows upside on the bump, running his fastball up to 85 mph. Mostly sat 83-84 while mixing in an above average 76-77 mph changeup. Also flashed a slider and curveball in the low 70s. Expect to see a jump this spring as there’s more to come. Strong follow.
2027 RHP/C Ryder Simon (Winter Park HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-6, 185 pounds on a tall, long frame that will continue to add physicality and really projects. Was one of the top overall standouts at the event, showing off a big arm and present power. Fast arm and ran his fastball up to 89 mph, mostly sitting 86-88. Mixed in a 77-78 mph changeup and a 74-75 mph slider. Loose, quick hands and sent deep drives into left-center, right-center during batting practice from the right side. Ball really jumps off the bat and there’s still more power to come. Registered a top exit velocity of 91 mph. Accurate and on-line throws to the bag from behind the plate with carry as well. Very strong follow.
2027 LHP/OF Cameron Penney (Apopka HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds on an athletic, projectable frame. Shows real upside as a two-way prospect, notably as an arm that will continue to make big jumps. Features a fastball that sits 83-85 mph along with a curveball in the mid 60s with depth, tighter spin and a low 70s changeup. Offensively he displayed loose, quick hands through the zone with multiple hard line drives into right, right-center field. More power to come. Topped out at 81 mph on his throws from the outfield. Very strong follow.
2027 1B/RHP Lucas Ostolaza (Lake Brantley HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds on a tall, athletic frame that will continue to fill out. Offensively he ripped multiple pitches back up the middle while displaying the ability to go gap-to-gap as well. Still more power to unlock. On the mound he featured a fastball up to 82 mph and generated multiple swings and misses. Flashed an upper 60s curveball, low 70s changeup as well. Look for multiple jumps in his overall game moving forward.
2027 LHP/OF Kingston Ebanks (Olympia HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 150 pounds on a lean, athletic frame that projects. Really stood out on the mound with a fast arm, running his fastball up to 86 mph. Plenty more in there. Also flashed a low 70s curveball with depth and a 77-78 mph changeup with fade. Another jump is coming. Topped out at 83 mph on his throws from the outfield that showed carry. Quick bat from the left side, producing multiple line drives back up the middle during batting practice. Strong follow.
