Jesuit Tigers vs Sickles Gryphons
Tigers defeated the Gryphons 14-4

2021 IF Nick Rodriguez (Jesuit HS, FL)
Charleston Southern commit. Strong lower half with above average bat speed from the left side. During one of his at-bats he drove a ball deep down the left field line for an RBI double, sparking the Jesuit offense to get rolling. Creates hard contact and takes a smart at-bat. Rodriguez has also shown his present pull side juice earlier this season. Continues to be a key part of the heart of the order for the Tigers, finding a way to drive in multiple runs.

2021 OF BJ Graham (Jesuit HS, FL)
Tulane commit. Athletic frame with a strong lower half. Graham continues to show up every time we see him, making a real impact on offense. Was able to go down in the strike zone and chop a ball over the 1B’s head for a 2-run single along with driving a ball deep over the center fiielder’s head for an RBI triple which proved to be the final hit of the game on their way to a mercy victory. Finds a way on base, always seems ready to hit at the top of the lineup.

2022 IF/DH AJ Nessler (Jesuit HS, FL)
Pittsburgh commit. Continues to be a threat from the left side of the plate as he really can work gap-to-gap, driving the ball deep for extra base hits. Stays balanced throughout his swing. There’s more power to come, especially to the pull side.

2021 RHP Kris Sosnowski (Jesuit HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Came in for relief work and had a strong appearance by going 2.1 innings and allowing only one hit. Featured mostly a fastball that sat 88-90 mph, throwing a high percentage for strikes. Works with a more up-tempo pace, looking to make the batter uncomfortable. Uncommitted arm that should generate plenty of looks the rest of the spring.

2024 1B Thomas Bly (Sickles HS, FL)
Louisville commit. Tall, physical frame that immediately stands out for his age. Shows big potential with the bat and will continue to be a major threat in the lineup as he continues to mature. During one of his at-bats he connected on a ball and sent a rocket line drive to right field for a single. The power is there too as he can send it a long way when he squares it up. Bly is a very strong follow.

2021 OF Kohl Robertson (Sickles HS, FL)
Florida Southwestern State commit. Athletic frame with some room to still fill out. Went 2-3 at the plate which included a two-run double that was roped deep into left-center field. The hands are quick through the zone and seems to barrel it up consistently. There’s more power to come and Robertson shows real offensive upside.

2021 MIF Bradke Lohry (Jesuit HS, FL)
Wabash Valley College commit. Compact, athletic frame that really makes an impact out of the leadoff spot. Paced the Tigers offense by going 3-4 with two runs scored and 2 RBIs. Quick bat from the right side, looks to drive the ball where it’s thrown in the zone.

Wharton Wildcats vs Alonso Ravens
Wildcats defeated the Ravens 11-0

2021 RHP Jackson Perkins (Wharton HS, FL)
Stellar outing, threw 6 shutout innings along with striking out 8. Fastball had good life to it and lots of two-seam movement. Good feel to all 3 pitches and was comfortable throwing secondary pitches in any count. Worked around the knees throughout his outing. Uncommitted senior that has a high ceiling and still has room to fill. High Follow.

2022 1B Billy Eich (Wharton HS, FL)
6’6 220 pound frame. Smooth and compact swing at the plate, very composed as well. Good pop off the bat. Cleanup spot hitter was 1-3 with a triple last night and displayed good speed around the bases. Uncommitted Junior that should be a close watch.

2022 RHP Hector Montilla (Alonso HS, FL)
Fastball displayed life to it and produced mostly weak contact. Good movement to his Curveball. Fastball at times had some rising action which was also effective. Good composure on the mound. Bethune-Cookman commit has more room to develop and will be a good follow this season.

2022 OF/C David Limbach (Wharton HS, FL)
6’2 170 pound frame was impressive at the plate last night. Good plate discipline with a smooth and compact swing. Good bat speed as well. Pull-side hitter from the left side and went 1-2 with 3 RBIs and a 2-Run HR to end the game for Wharton. Will be a good follow this season and has been a threat in the Wildcats lineup. Uncommitted

2021 INF/RHP Zach Ehrhard (Wharton HS, FL)
The Oklahoma State Signee showed off good power and contact at the plate, going 2-2 with 4 RBI’s and drew a walk. One of his doubles cleared the bases. Also knocked a Sacrifice Fly which drove in another runner. 2-Spot hitter will continue to be a big threat to any opposing team. Quick bat speed and showed good athleticism on the field.
