2022 C/IF Brody Donay (Lakeland Christian, FL)
Virginia Tech commit. Tall, athletic frame standing at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds with present strength and some room to still fill out. Showed off big power offensively with multiple balls going over the left and left-center field wall during batting practice. The ball really jumps off the bat. This translated to the game as he laced one into left-center field for a single during one of his at-bats. Defensively, he showed off an above average arm behind the plate where he gunned down several runners on the base paths with strong, accurate throws to the bag with carry. Donay has also shown high upside on the mound in several stints, featuring a fastball in the low 90s. Donay will be a very strong follow over the next couple years with lots of potential.
2023 IF Arjun Nimmala (Strawberry Crest HS, FL)
Florida State commit. Currently stands at 6-foot, 160 pounds with a loose, projectable, athletic frame. Took a very impressive couple rounds of batting practice, driving the ball deep into left and left-center field for loud, hard contact. Present juice with more to come. This translated to the game where he got ahold of one and crushed a no-doubter home run into the trees over the left-center field fence.
2024 1B/RHP Wade Walton (Newsome HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds on a tall, long frame with plenty of room to fill out. Offensively he delivered multiple hard hard line drives up the middle during batting practice, showing some feel for the barrel. There’s pull side power potential to come. Up to 80 mph with his fastball on the mound along with a 63-64 mph curveball and 67-68 mph changeup with some fade. Young two-way to follow.
2024 MIF/RHP Cooper Hinson (Bloomingdale HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-8, 140 pounds on a lean, athletic frame. Possesses high level instincts all over the field and seems to be in the right place at the right time. Quick hands from the left side offensively, delivered a base hit the other way during game action and was active on the base paths. Confident defender up the middle. On the mound, he struck out multiple batters and induced a number of swings and misses with his curveball, throwing it for strikes and generating swings and misses. Really knows how to play the game.
2022 RHP/1B David Dooley (Bell Creek Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Extra large, strong frame standing at 6-foot-7, 270 pounds. Impending presence on the mound who ran his fastball up to 90 mph, mostly sitting 86-89. Also mixed in a 74-75 mph curveball that had some decent shape. As he continues to refine his mechanics he will be able to garner a better command of the strike zone, but there’s big potential on the mound and more in the tank. Strong follow.
2022 RHP Ryan Fry (Wharton HS, FL)
Miami commit. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds with longer limbs and room to still fill out. Displayed a fastball that mostly sat 84-88 mph, touching 90 while mixing in a 71-72 mph curveball with depth and a 75-76 mph changeup. Works out of a simple windup with a medium leg kick, quick arm. There’s more in there and Fry will continue to be a high follow.
2023 C Dylan LaPointe (Durant HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 185 pounds with a strong lower half. Stood out offensively during batting practice where he laced multiple line drives deep into the left-center field. Looks to implement his strong lower half for additional power.
2022 C/RHP Joey Daniels (Steinbrenner HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 195 pounds on a solid, durable frame with a strong lower half. Present strength throughout, looks to drive the ball with intent. He then roped a ball off the left field fence for a standup double in his 1st at-bat of the day during game action. Attacks hitters on the mound by going right at them and pounding the zone where he featured a fastball that sat 83-85 mph.
2024 OF/RHP Tyler Macpherson (Newsome HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Physical, athletic frame standing at 6-foot, 165 pounds. Stood out offensively where he drove the ball with intent gap-to-gap during batting practice. Showed some present pull side pop with more power to come. Up to 80 mph on the mound as well with a quick arm. Another strong two-way follow moving forward.
