Brantley Dominates University 7-0 Behind Adrian’s 10K Effort

In the final game of Opening Day at the Big Blue Bonanza tournament at Lake Brantley HS, the Lake Brantley Patriots took on the University Cougars which turned out to be a dominant 7-0 victory for the home team. Eduardo Adrian was lights out for the Patriots as he finished with 10 strikeouts during his outing. Luke Heyman and Landon Moran paced the offense for the Patriots, collecting multiple RBIs.

2022 LHP Eduardo Adrian (Lake Brantley HS, FL) 
Uncommitted. The LHP was dominant in his outing, generating weak contact. Mixed his pitches to both sides of the plate, showcasing a nasty breaking pitch that snuck in the back door of right handed hitters. Struck out 10 in a complete game effort, totaling 82 pitches. 

2022 C Luke Heyman (Lake Brantley HS, FL)
Florida commit. Went 2-4 2B, 3B, 2 RBI. Stroked a double into the left field corner to drive in a run. Solid behind the plate. In his final at-bat he mashed a ball past the diving center fielder for a stand up triple. 

2022 1B/LHP Landon Moran (Lake Brantley HS, FL)
Florida commit. Went 1-1 BB, 2B, Sac fly with 2 RBIs. Stroked a backside double to left field to open up the scoring.
