MIF/RHP Charlee Soto (Montverde Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds on a tall, long, athletic frame. Room to fill out which will translate to additional jumps in his overall game. Really stood out as a legit two-way prospect throughout the weekend. Offensively, he shows present bat speed from both sides of the plate while working gap-to-gap from the right side and displaying pull side pop from the left side. Up the middle he showed off a big arm, topping out at 93 mph on his throws across the diamond. To top off his workout day, he clocked in at 6.96 seconds for his 60 yard dash time. On the mound, he featured a fastball that sat 87-89 mph while also mixing in a 70-72 mph curveball. Throws strikes and showed a feel for the breaking ball. Very strong follow.

RHP/C Derek Lopez (Olympia HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 165 pounds on a lean frame with above average athleticism. Lopez arguably had one of the best weekends out of all the players in attendance, showing real two-way potential at the next level. On the mound he continues to make jumps, running his fastball up to 89 mph while consistently in the 85-88 mph range. Mixed in an above average 69-70 mph curveball with depth and a 77-78 mph changeup. Throws a high percentage of strikes. Behind the plate he registered pop times in the 1.90-1.95 seconds range and topped out at 80 mph with accurate throws to the bag that had plenty of carry. Offensively he displays above average bat speed from both sides of the plate and works gap-to-gap with present pull side pop from both sides. Very strong follow and should be at the top of everyone’s list to see this fall.

C Conner Spelman (Lake Howell HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 210 with a strong lower half and present strength throughout. Spelman was another player who really shined over the weekend, especially offensively. Fast, strong hands through the zone and generates power from his lower half. This translated to live game action where he not only ripped a ball back up the middle for a line drive single, but unloaded on a pitch later in the game and crushed a ball over the left-center field wall for a solo home run. Defensively he shows the ability to block the ball out in front with strong and accurate throws to the bag. Registered pop times in the 1.98-2.06 seconds range. Physical catcher who makes an impact both offensively and defensively. Should be very high on everyone’s follow list this fall.

LHP Mason Laurito (Forest HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-1, 160 pounds on a lean, athletic frame. During his bullpen on Friday night he sat 86-87 mph, touching 88. Easy, loose arm and the ball jumps out of his hand. Also mixes in a 75-78 above average changeup and 68-69 mph curveball. Throws all three pitches for strikes. Works with an up-tempo pace. Struck out three in his inning of work during live game action.

RHP Tyler Kozera (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Projectable frame standing at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Kozera has continued to show why he is one of the top uncommitted arms still available, running his fastball up to 92 mph. Mostly sat 88-91 with life while mixing in a nasty 76-78 mph slider with depth and an 80-81 mph changeup. Generated lots of swings and misses, struck out multiple batters during live game action. Very strong follow heading into the fall.

LHP/OF Holden Brauner (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-9, 169 pounds on a compact, athletic frame. Brauner showed up all over throughout the weekend, showing above average two-way potential. Above average runner which was seen during his 60 yard dash, clocking in at 6.91 seconds. From the outfield, he topped out at 84 with accurate throws to third and home during defensive drills. Offensively, he shows present bat speed from the left side and really looks to get behind the baseball and drive it back up the middle and to the pull side. On the mound his fastball sat 83-84 mph and consistently pounded the strike zone. Also mixed in a 75-76 mph changeup and a 72-74 mph curveball.

OF Tanner Reid (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds with present athleticism. Offensively, he displayed quick hands and made lots of loud, hard contact during batting practice. Worked in rhythm with a present feel for the barrel, driving the ball deep into the left-center field gap. From the outfield he displayed an above average arm, topping out at 89 mph from right field during defensive drills.

RHP Hunter Gressel (Lake Highland Prep, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 185 on a tall frame that really projects. Showed off a fast arm with more in the tank throughout the weekend, sitting 83-85 mph with his fastball. Also mixed in a 76-78 mph changeup with fade along with a 69-70 mph curveball. Gressel has a real chance to make a jump this upcoming fall.

1B Collin Priest (Mount Dora Christian Academy, FL)
VCU commit. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds on a tall, strong frame. Priest showed off present pull side pop during batting practice, driving the ball deep into right-center and right field. Has the ability to drive the ball over the fence at any time for a game-changing hit. During live game action he drove a ball down the right field line for a double. Middle of the order type hitter.

OF Jaden Bastian (The First Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds on a lean, athletic frame. Offensively he displayed quick hands, a level approach, and worked gap-to-gap during batting practice. Shows the ability to drive the ball the other way which translates to extra base hits due to his above average speed on the base paths. Registered a 6.65 for his 60 yard dash time. Topped out at 84 mph on his throws from right field during defensive drills.

OF Anthony Cole (Montverde Academy, FL)
Florida Gulf Coast commit. Currently stands at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds on a tall, physical frame and showed off present power during batting practice, driving the ball deep into left field and center field. Loud, hard contact and the ball really jumps off the bat. Suited to drive in plenty of runs in the heart of the order. From the outfield is where he really stood out though as he topped out at 91 mph on his throws to the bag. The arm is loose and as he continues to get more reps in the outfield, expect his throws to become stronger. Power bat to follow.

C AJ Goytia (Montverde Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds on an athletic frame. During batting practice he showed fast hands through the zone and drove the ball back up the middle multiple times for hard hit line drives. Above average runner who also clocked in at 6.63 seconds in his 60 yard dash time.

C/RHP Joel Core (Central Pointe Christian Academy, FL)
FIU commit. Currently stands at 6-foot, 200 pounds with a strong lower half. Throws a heavy fastball that sat 86-87 mph during his bullpen while also mixing in a 74-75 mph curveball with depth. This above average arm strength was also seen from behind the plate where he registered pop times in the 1.91-1.98 seconds range and topped out at 80 mph on his throws down to the bag.

IF Carter White (Barron Collier HS, FL)
UCF commit. Currently stands at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds and has become noticeably more physical, especially in his lower half. Stood out offensively with his loose, quick hands from the left side and a present feel for the barrel. Stays balanced throughout his swing and creates hard contact for lone drives to the pull side. This translated to live game action where he roped a ball into right field for a single. Accurate and on line throws across the diamond that topped out at 85 mph.

OF Dallas Dale (Mount Dora Christian Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds on an athletic frame with room to still fill out. From the left side, he has a smooth, easy swing swing through the zone that finds the barrel often. Swing really works and not only shows present pull side juice (which was seen during batting practice) but the ability to drive the ball the other way for extra base hits. During live game action he barreled up a pitch for an opposite field standup double. Strong uncommitted bat to follow this fall.

OF Cory Chamberland (West Orange HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 170 pounds on a lean, athletic frame with room to add physicality. Above average runner who clocked in at 6.82 seconds for his 60 yard dash time. Loose, fast hands from the left side offensively that allow him to drive the ball with intent to the pull side, most notably into the right-center field gap. His throws from the outfield were accurate and topped out at 83 mph.

RHP Skylar Stinson (Apopka HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 145 pounds on a lean frame that projects to fill out and become more physical. Quick, loose arm and featured a fastball that mostly sat 83-84 mph with run (has been up to 87 recently) along with a 74-75 mph changeup, 70-71 mph curveball with depth, and a nasty slider 75-76 mph that had 2500+ RPM. There’s more in the tank and the offspeed stuff really compliments his fastball, especially the slider. Look for Stinson to make jump this fall, especially as he continues to add to his frame.
