Second Five

2024 C/IF Cole Sofge (Largo HS, FL)

Tall, physical frame with present strength throughout. Has been on fire offensively so far this season, driving the ball all over the field from both sides of the plate. Loose, quick hands that find the barrel often for run-scoring hits. Drives the ball with intent deep into the gaps. Behind the plate he displays strong wrists, an above average arm, and the ability to keep the ball in front of him. Solid defender around the bag as well. Strong follow.

2024 LHP/OF Talan Bell (Hagerty HS, FL)

Arguably one of the top two-way uncommitted prospects in the 2024 class right now. Difference maker in multiple ways with high-end talent. On the mound he displays a fast arm, over the top windup. Ball really jumps on the batter. Runs his fastball up to 91 mph while mostly pitching at 87-90 with run. Above average curveball with depth, tight spin. Changeup is a weapon that runs away from right handed hitters, showing fade. Offensively he possesses present pull side juice from the left side, has the ability to deliver extra base hits. Very strong follow.

2024 MIF Cole Huddleston (Palm Harbor University HS, FL)

Compact, athletic frame. Works in rhythm from the right side of the plate, staying balanced and ready to hit. Fast hands and stays direct to the ball, driving it all over the field. Trusts his hands, shows the ability to adjust to different pitches in the box. Always seems to find a way on base. Confident defender up the middle, shows range to both his backhand and forehand. Strong follow.

2024 MIF Cam Mallo (Jefferson HS, FL)

Athletic frame and looks to have become more physical, especially in the lower half. Balanced approach from the right side and uses his quick hands to drive the ball back up the middle. Takes a smart at-bat and fouls off the tough breaking pitches with two strikes. Shows above average range up the middle defensively as well. All around smart player, consistently makes an impact each game. Strong follow.

2025 RHP Brandon Dees (Palm Harbor University HS, FL)

Present physicality. Quick arm with more in there. Works from a simple windup. Runs his fastball up to 90 mph, mostly pitching at at 86-89 while mixing in a 77-79 mph changeup along with an above average curveball at 66-68 mph with depth. Looks to work down in the zone, generate swings and misses with his breaking ball. Strong follow moving forward.
