First Five

2025 RHP Merrick Beamish (St. Augustine HS, FL)

Athletic frame with a quick arm and works with an up-tempo pace. Features a fastball up to 90 mph sitting 86-89 with 2350+ RPM. Also mixes in a low 80s changeup with fade, 72-73 mph curveball with 2500+ RPM. Flashes a hard 76-77 mph slider as well. Does a good job of mixing up his pitches, throwing them for strikes. Still more in the tank and the arm works. Strong follow.

2023 OF Jayden Vazquez (Jefferson HS, FL)

Lean, athletic frame with room to fill out. Has consistently stood out from an offensive standpoint, delivering plenty of base hits this season. Fast hands from the right side with a simple approach that can drive the ball all over the field. Stays balanced, has shown the ability to sit back on the breaking ball and drive it as well. Looks to be aggressive on the base paths. Will be a great addition to a program at the next level, very strong follow.

2025 OF/LHP Kai Lwin (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)

Has become noticeably more physical, especially in the lower half which has translated to an overall jump in his game. Fast, strong hands from the left side of the plate that allow him to drive the ball deep into the gaps. Has shown the ability to put the ball over the wall as well. Ball really jumps off the bat. Above average arm from the outfield. Heads up player. Strong follow.

2025 LHP Connor Fink (Windermere HS, FL)

Projectable frame and works downhill on the mound. Quick arm and runs his fastball up 83 mph, mostly sitting 80-82. Creates some deception in his delivery, hides the ball. Present feel for his full arsenal and pounds the strike zone. Curveball shows depth and shape while the changeup displays late fade. Has stood out this season with multiple scoreless outings. Stays poised and repeats well. Strong follow.

2024 OF/1B Brady Roberts (Apopka HS, FL)

Present strength throughout and is suited to be in the heart of the order to drive in lots of runs. Quick, loose hands from the left side that creates hard contact. Hitting north of .430 on the season with multiple doubles and triples, lacing the ball all over the field. Some present pull side pop as well. Drives the ball with intent consistently, still more power to unlock. Strong follow.
