2019 Wilson Premier Classic Part 2

Below are over 20 players who stood out over the final two days over a four day stretch in Arizona. It is important to note that most of this coverage took place at the Mariners complex with some additional coverage coming from the Padres complex as well. Also, the rankings listed below refer to the most current player rankings by class according to Perfect Game

Day 3

2021 LHP Valentin Flores Jr. (AZ Sandlot)
Uncommitted. Unranked. Creates deception and a tough angle on right handed hitters throwing from the 3/4 slot. Sat 80-82 mph, touching 83 with his fastball that had plenty of movement along with a 69-70 mph curveball. Athletic, works up-tempo.

2021 RHP Kyle Sullivan (Northwest Baseball)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 8 in Oregon. Sat 80-84 mph with his fastball, touching 85 with run while mixing in a 74-76 mph changeup and a 71-72 mph curveball with depth. Very projectable frame at 6-3, 195 with long limbs. Releases from a low 3/4 slot, creates deception.

2022 C Riley Parker (Power Baseball)
Central Florida commit. Unranked. Crushed one deep in the left-center field gap for a standup double. Ball jumps off the bat with present strength. Creates loud, hard contact and can really square it up.

2021 LHP Colby Wallace (BPA Baseball)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 59 in California, No. 497 Nationally. Strong follow moving forward. The big 6-4, 210 pound lefty struck out 8 through 4 innings of work, generating plenty of swings/misses, and throwing 78% of his pitches for first-pitch strikes. Sat 80-83 mph with his fastball, touching 84 with life and mixed in a power curveball at 74-76 mph.

2021 IF Noah Sullivan (Power Baseball)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 151 in Florida. Got ahold of one and crushed a ball deep into the left-center field gap for a two-run double. He has a strong lower half and looks to drive it with intent to the pull side, left-center field gap. 

2021 MIF Tyler Pettorini (Ohio Elite)
Ohio State commit. Currently ranked No. 10 in Ohio. The Ohio State commit shows an aggressive approach from the left side and can turn it into the next gear rounding the bases. Scorched a ball down the right field line for a ground rule double. 

2022 IF Owen Murphy (Rake City)
Notre Dame commit. Currently ranked No. 11 in Illinois, No. 353 Nationally. He has a strong, athletic frame with above average bat speed, feel for the barrel from the right side. During the game he laced a ball deep into the left-center field gap for a ground rule double.

2020 LHP Hunter Parris (Florida Hurricanes)
Uncommitted. Unranked. Parris carved up lineups during the summer and continued that in Arizona. Works down in the zone with multiple swings and misses. Sat 80-84 mph with his fastball with sink, locating it well while mixing in a 65-66 mph curveball, and a 74-75 mph changeup with some fade. Went the complete game, striking out 10. Struck out the last batter of the game on a fading changeup. Really knows how to pitch. 

2020 OF Alex Urban (Canes National)
Clemson commit. Currently ranked No. 3 in South Carolina, No. 184 Nationally. Impressed offensively all throughout the event. Easy bat speed from the left side, a feel for the barrel, and stays balanced throughout. Went gap-to-gap all weekend with hard line drives.

2020 IF/RHP Brandon Eike (Canes National)
North Carolina commit. Currently ranked No. 11 in Virginia, No. 405 Nationally. Made e a highlight play while playing third, backhanding it right on the line with a strike to first on the throw for the out. 

2020 OF Dakota Duffalo (AZ Sandlot)
Utah commit. Currently ranked No. 61 in Arizona. The Utah commit has quick hands from the right side and utilizes his lower half for power. This was seen when he smoked a ball that one-hopped the fence in left-center field for a two-run triple.

2020 C/OF Cooper Ingle (Canes National)
Clemson commit. Currently ranked No. 5 in North Carolina, No. 216 Nationally.He shows a feel for the barrel from the left side with athleticism. Laces a ball down the left field line for a big RBI single during the playoffs.

2021 1B/RHP Kyle Larsen (Canes National)
Florida commit. Currently ranked No. 19 in Florida, No. 120 Nationally. The Florida commit has a strong lower half with pull side pop. Drove a ball into the left-center field gap for a key RBI single late in the game. Also in the low 90s on the mound. 

2022 OF Caleb Crain (Canes National)
Uncommitted. Unranked. Balanced approach from the left side and shows a present feel for the barrel, looking to go gap-to-gap. Laced a ball over the left fielder’s head for a bases clearing triple, giving them a 7-4 lead in the bottom of the 5th during the playoffs. 

2022 RHP/SS James Triantos (Canes National)
North Carolina commit. Currently ranked No. 4 in Virginia, No. 28 Nationally. Came in for relief and struck out the side in his first inning of work. Sat 86-88 mph, touching 89 with his fastball while mixing in an above average curveball  at 75-76 with a true 12/6 break.

2021 RHP Victor Quinn (Gators Baseball Academy)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 20 in Missouri. Came in for relief and was electric. Pumped a 90-91 mph fastball, touching 92 with life, mixing in a hard slider that generated multiple swings and misses at 75-76 mph. Athletic frame with a strong lower half. Ball jumps on the batter.

2022 RHP Isaac Hill (Northwest Baseball)
Oregon State commit. Unranked. Came in for relief and struck out two in his first inning of work. Sat 86-87 mph with his fastball, mixing in a 75-76 mph changeup with fade and a 72-73 mph curveball with depth. Generated multiple swings and misses on the curveball, finishing with 6 Ks in 3 IP.

Day 4 (Rain Shortened Day, Only One Round of Playoffs)

2020 IF Wyatt Langford (Canes National)
Florida commit. Currently ranked No. 35 in Florida, No. 186 Nationally. He has a physical frame and the ball really jumps off the bat. He got them on the board early in the game by lacing a ball into left field for an RBI single.

2020 RHP Paulshawn Pasqualotto (San Diego Show)
California commit. Currently ranked No. 2 in Nevada, No. 127 Nationally. One of the top uncommitted arms still available. Physical, athletic frame at 6-2, 190, Fastball was mostly 88-9 mph, touching 92 with life along with a 72-74 mph curveball with depth, and a 76-77 mph changeup. 

2021 C/OF Ethan Glossa (Rake City)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 54 in Illinois. The uncommitted backstop has a strong lower half and utilizes it to drive the ball with intent. Drove a ball into left field for an RBI single, ball really jumps off the bat. 

2020 LHP/1B Caden Grice (Canes National)
Clemson commit. Currently ranked No. 8 in South Carolina, No. 246 Nationally. Big frame with projection. Came in for relief and struck out the side in his second inning of work. Fastball was mostly 88-90 mph, touching 91 along with a 79-80 mph changeup,  and 75-76 mph slider with late life. 

2021 MIF Marcelo Mayer (San Diego Show)
Southern California commit. Currently ranked No. 2 in California, No. 9 Nationally. Crushed a no-doubter solo home run in his first at-bat of the game. Mayer was one of the top offensive players at the event and the Southern California commit flat out rakes from the left side. Will continue to be a very high follow.
