Power Baseball 2025 Summer Season Tryout Camp Standouts Part 3

From January 10-12th, 350+ players from the 2026-2029 classes participated in this year’s Power Baseball 2025 Summer Season Tryout Camp, taking place at the Turn2 Sports Performance Center and Lake Brantley HS for the first two days along with West Orange HS and South Lake HS. Players went through bullpens on Friday night followed by pro-style workouts on Saturday and then live games on Sunday. Below are a list of players (Part 3 of 3) our scouting staff felt stood out the most throughout the event and are strong follows heading into the spring season. Part 2 is HERE

Mike’s Third Group

2026 LHP/1B Tyler Kenast (Winter Springs HS, FL)
Texas Tech commit. Tall and projectable frame. High upside on the mound with still more to come. Featured a heavy fastball that sat in the 86-88 mph range, touching 89 with run. Mixed in a very sharp curveball at 73-74 mph along with a tight slider at 76-77 mph and an above average changeup in the low 80s. Feel to throw all four pitches for strikes. Offensively from the left side of the plate he displayed the ability to produce multiple line drives all over the field during batting practice. Stays tall in his approach with a strong finish.

2026 OF/LHP Trenton Ramsey (North Marion HS, FL)
Miami commit. Athletic frame with present strength throughout, notably in the lower half. Continued to stand out from an offensive perspective from the left side as the hands were quick through the zone and found the barrel for hard hit line drives. Registered a top exit velocity of 96 mph while demonstrating pull side power as well. Above average arm that is utilized in multiple ways. 

2026 IF Danny Garcia (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)
Stetson commit. Compact frame with physicality. Offensively from the right side he works from a simple approach and in rhythm, staying balanced throughout and driving the ball with intent. Plenty of line drives back up the middle and to the pull side during batting practice. Up the middle defensively he ranged freely to his left and right, fielding the ball under control and with confidence. 

2026 RHP Jordan Livingston (Spruce Creek HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Present above average athleticism with a fast arm. Stays balanced throughout his delivery and drives towards the plate. Works with a quicker pace and looks to get that first pitch strike. Featured a fastball that was up to 90 mph with carry through the zone, mostly sitting 87-89 with a present feel for his secondary stuff as well. Mixed in an upper 70s slider along with a low 80s changeup and curveball that had depth, shape at 73-74 mph. Still more in the tank. 

2027 IF Kayden Dougherty (Viera HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic and compact frame with present physicality. Stood out as a two-way prospect throughout the event. Confident approach offensively from the right side that allows him to stay balanced and utilize his lower half to drive the baseball, finding the barrel frequently. Present pop. Confident defender around the bag with accurate throws across the diamond. Up to 84 mph with his fastball while also showing the ability to throw the slider for strikes. 

2027 OF/1B Cam Penney (Lake Brantley HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame that has started to become more physical, notably in the lower half. Loose and easy working hands from the left side of the plate with above average bat speed through the zone. Laced the ball back up the middle while demonstrating pull side power. Defensively he displayed fluidity and natural actions around the bag while also taking efficient angles to the ball in the outfield with strong and accurate throws. 

2027 RHP/OF Britton Wise (Mount Dora Christian Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Made a noticeable jump in his overall game as a two-way prospect. Present athleticism and strength. Big velocity jump on the mound with an up-tempo windup that featured a fastball up to 90 mph, mostly sitting in the upper 80s. Changeup was in the mid 70s and showed fade. Offensively the power is there from the right side and looks to drive the ball with intent back up the middle. Above average arm from the outfield, aggressive to the ball. 

2028 MIF/RHP/OF Ethan Jackson (Eustis HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame that has started to become more physical, notably in the lower half. Really can play multiple positions at an above average level. Offensively from the right side he works in confidence and stays on time, driving the ball all over the field. Gap-to-gap, top of the lineup hitter. Ripped a ball down the left field line for a triple during game action. Fluid defender up the middle. Quick arm on the mound with a fastball up to 86 mph, mostly sitting 84-85 mph that generated multiple swings and misses during game action. Mixed in a mid 70s slider as well. 

Anthony’s Third Group

2026 RHP Connor Bly (Sickles HS, FL)
Uncommitted. A physical, athletic build that showcases an effortless range of motion with excellent extension, efficiently using his entire body to generate power and consistency. His fastball sits in the upper 80s, complemented by a sharp slider and a deceptive changeup that keep hitters guessing. During the live game portion, he struck out three of the four batters he faced, demonstrating his ability to dominate with command and pitch variety. His smooth mechanics and poise on the mound make him a standout performer. 

2027 RHP Nathan Rich (West Orange HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Impressive frame that Supplied a fastball in the mid-80s, paired with well-executed off-speed pitches that effectively disrupt timing. His delivery is powered by a strong lower half that works seamlessly with his upper body, ensuring balance and consistency. He stays on plane throughout his motion, allowing him to repeat his mechanics and maintain excellent control. With great zone presence and the ability to make quick adjustments, he demonstrates a mature and confident approach on the mound. 

2027 C/RHP Matthew Wetherell (Trinity Catholic, FL)
Uncommitted. A mobile & dynamic two-way player with a fastball in the mid-80s, paired with a deceptive 74 mph changeup that keeps hitters off balance. He adds athleticism to his game, evident in his impressive 6.9-second 60-yard dash. At the plate, he displays line drive ability with a consistent barrel path, producing hard, quality contact to all fields. Strong option behind the plate with a good arm and moves lower half well. His combination of pitching, catching, hitting, and speed makes him a versatile and impactful player. 

2027 RHP Antony Viera (Lake Mary HS, FL)
Uncommitted. A power arm that commands the mound with a fastball that reaches 91, delivering strength and late life that consistently generates swings and misses. His explosive lower half provides a strong foundation, keeping his upper half balanced and allowing for a smooth, repeatable delivery. A true strike-thrower, he attacks the zone with confidence, challenging hitters and staying ahead in counts. His ability to combine velocity, control, and swing-and-miss stuff makes him a dominant presence on the mound.

2027 MIF/RHP Oakley Hayhurst (Trinity Catholic, FL)
Uncommitted. A versatile player who excels both on the mound and at the plate. His fastball topped out at 85 mph, complemented by a sharp slider in the upper 70s and a curveball in the lower 70s, all delivered with consistent command and repeatable mechanics. At the plate, he showcases an impressive upper-half approach, with his lower half syncing seamlessly to produce balanced and powerful swings. Off the mound, his efficient upper-half control and command make him a reliable strike-thrower. A good game manager when he has the ball in his hand on the bump.

2028 RHP Connor O’Hea (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic, mobile build that excels in his craft. On the mound, his fastball topped out at 84 mph, paired with effective breaking pitches, all delivered with a strong and aggressive yet controlled upper half. During I/O, he flashed 86 mph from shortstop, displaying great glove mechanics and a quick transfer. Offensively, he works gap-to-gap with loud contact, using a strong foundation to generate consistent power at the plate. Only going to continue to get better.
