Power Baseball 2024 Summer Season Tryout Camp Standouts Part 3
From January 12th-14th, Power Baseball held their 2024 Summer Teams Tryout Camp which took place at the Turn2 Sports and Performance Center along with Lake Brantley HS in Orlando, FL. Over the three-day stretch players went through bullpens, a pro-style workout, and game action. With over 300 players in attendance ranging from the 2025-2027 classes, there was tons of talent all over the field.
Below is Part 3 of the standouts highlighted from the event that made an impact on our scouting staff and will be strong follows moving forward as we head into the spring season. Part 2 can be found HERE.

2025 RHP Jacob Cali (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds on a physical, athletic frame. Quick arm and the ball really jumps out of his hand with more in there. Works from a simple windup. Featured a fastball that topped out at 90 mph, mostly pitching at 87-89 during his bullpen. Also mixed in a changeup in the low 80s and an above average slider at 76-77 mph. Arm that will be a strong follow this spring.
2025 RHP/OF Luis Machado (The First Academy, FL)
Strong uncommitted two-way follow this spring as the switch-hitter also runs his fastball up to 90 mph. Athletic frame with present physicality at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds. Quick arm that usually sits 86-89 while mixing in a 80-81 mph changeup, 76-77 mph slider with depth, bite. Still more in the tank. Works gap-to-gap from the right side of the plate while displaying pull side pop from the left side. Up to 91 mph on his throws from the outfield.
2025 RHP Rylee Gibson (Foundation Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds on a tall frame that really projects. Featured a fastball that mostly sat 85-87 and came out of his hand easy. Look for another jump fairly soon in regards to velocity. Also mixed in an 80-81 mph changeup and a 74-75 mph slider with depth. Strong follow.
2025 MIF Robert Hoffman (Olympia HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 175 pounds with a strong lower half. Offensively he showed the ability to drive the ball into left, left center field during batting practice from the right side of the plate. This translated to game action when he laced a ball to left field wall for an RBI triple. His above average speed (which was seen with a 6.80 60 yard dash time) was seen rounding the bases. Defensively up the middle he ranged to his right and left with accurate throws across the diamond topping out at 85 mph.
2025 OF Ryan Foscolo (Hagerty HS, FL)
Kentucky commit. Currently stands at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds on a tall, athletic frame that projects. Offensively he works from a simple approach from the right side, driving the ball with intent and consistently producing 90+ mph exit velocity readings. Ball really jumps off the bat and there’s still more power to unlock. Above average runner as well who clocked in at 6.60 secs for his 60 yard dash time. From the outfield his throws were accurate and showed carry in the upper 80s to the bag. Strong follow.
2025 RHP Aiden Smarrito (Winter Springs HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 190 pounds with a physical lower half. Fast arm with a big leg kick. Stays balanced throughout his windup while driving down the mound to deliver the ball. Featured a fastball up to 89 mph while mostly sitting 85-88 during his bullpen. Still more in there. Showed a good mix of his off-speed stuff with a mid 70s changeup while throwing both a slider in the upper 70s and a curveball at 73-74 mph. Strong follow this spring.
2026 IF Louis Hernandez (Lake Mary HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-4, 196 pounds on a long and athletic frame. Room to add physicality which should translate to additional jumps in power offensively. From the right side of the plate he showed a present feel for the barrel, driving multiple pitches deep into the gaps with a wood bat during batting practice. The hands are quick through the zone and the ball jumps off the bat. Registered a top exit velocity of 91 mph. Topped out at 85 mph on his throws across the diamond. Strong follow.
2026 1B/RHP Alan Overmyer (Barron Collier HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-5, 185 pounds on a tall, projectable frame. Still room to fill out with additional physicality. During batting practice from the left side he produced multiple line drives deep into right, right-center field. He then showed the ability to go the other way during game action, driving a ball into left field for a double. Expect for more jumps in power, especially to the pull side. On the mound he featured a fastball that was up to 85 mph along with a cutter that sat around 83-84 mph. Flashed a curveball at 70-71 with depth as well.
2026 C Grant Sheppard (Bishop Snyder HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds with present strength throughout. Continued to stand out as an above average catcher with an offensive impact. From the right side of the plate he swings with intent, using his quick, strong hands through the zone and driving the ball gap-to-gap during batting practice. Demonstrates pull side juice as well. Above average arm from behind the plate with pop times in the 1.97-2.0 secs range and throws that are accurate and to the bag.
2026 RHP/IF Jordan Livingston (Mount Dora Christian, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 160 pounds and was one of the top arms at the event, running his fastball up to 91 mph that showed life and really jumped out of his hand. Mostly sat 87-90 mph and mixed in a 76-77 mph slider and a 79-80 mph changeup with fade. Works from an up-tempo windup and there’s still more in there. Also topped out at 86 mph on his throws across the diamond. Strong follow.
2026 LHP Tyler Kenast (Winter Springs, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds on a lean frame that will continue to fill out. Loose, easy working arm that featured a fastball up to 88 mph, mostly sitting 84-87 during his bullpen. Also mixed in a 73-74 mph curveball with depth and a low 80s changeup. Look for another jump later this year, especially as he continues to log innings this spring. Strong follow.
2026 RHP/1B Andrew Barr (Lake Brantley HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 145 pounds on a lean frame that will continue to add strength. Works from a high 3/4 to over the top arm slot, running his fastball up to 84 mph. Mostly pitches at 80-83 while featuring an above average slider at 74-76 mph with depth. Flashed a mid 70s changeup as well. More velocity to come as he fills out his frame. Strong follow.
2026 C/1B Tyler Nunez (Lake Nona HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds with present physicality. Really stood out from an offensive perspective during batting practice as the hands were quick through the zone with a consistent bat path, allowing him to find the barrel. This resulted in multiple line drives all over the field. Throws to the bag from behind the plate were accurate. Strong follow.
2026 RHP Drew Kunz (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 160 pounds on a lean, athletic frame. Still room to fill out, add physicality. Featured a fastball up to 84 mph, mostly sitting 81-83 that worked both sides of the zone. Displayed the ability to really spin the curveball which showed depth in the low 70s and a changeup at 76-77 mph. Still more in there and a good chance for another velocity jump during the upcoming spring, summer. Strong follow.
2027 OF/LHP Diego Rodriguez (Windermere HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-9, 165 pounds on a compact, athletic frame. Stood out as one of the top two-ways in his class throughout the event. On the mound he displayed a quick arm and ran his fastball up to 82 mph. Mostly pitched at 79-81 while mixing in an above average changeup at 71-72 mph with fade and a 64-65 mph curveball. Above average athleticism which was seen with a 6.80 seconds 60 yard dash time. Loose, quick hands from the left side of the plate offensively that not only shows some present pull side pop, but the ability to go the other way as well. Topped out at 80 mph from the outfield. Strong follow.
2027 IF/RHP Noah Adkins (Hagerty HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 155 pounds on an athletic frame that projects. Shows big potential on the mound as he ran his fastball up to 87 mph during his bullpen. Mostly sat 83-86 and the ball really jumps out of his hand. Still plenty more in there too. Mixed in a 72-73 mph curveball and a mid 70s changeup. Lots to like moving forward and an arm that will make another jump in the near future. Strong follow.
2027 IF/RHP Trace Farmer (Fernandina Beach HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds on a tall, physical frame for his age. Low effort delivery and featured a fastball up to 85 mph while mostly sitting 82-84. Mixed in a low 70s slider along with a 76-77 mph changeup. Still more in the tank. Topped out at 80 mph across the diamond and worked from a simple approach offensively, driving it back up the middle with multiple line drives. Strong follow.
