An important note, each player listed below is uncommitted:
2021 MIF William Sanchez (Lake Minneola HS, FL)
Was one of the top performers throughout the weekend, making an impact in multiple areas all over the field. Started off the day by clocking in at 6.67 seconds for his 60 yard dash time. During batting practice he displayed quick hands and a balanced approach, driving the ball deep into the gaps which included one going over the left field wall during his second round. This translated to the game when he roped one deep into left-center field for an easy standup double. Showed above average actions defensively with throws across the diamond topping out at 87 mph.
2021 RHP Quin Prosser (Inspiration Academy, FL)
Athletic frame with a strong lower half, working out of simple windup and medium leg kick. Was one of the more notable arms on the weekend, running his fastball up to 89 mph. Mostly sat 85-88 while mixing in a 73-74 mph changeup that showed fade along with a mid 70s slider.
2021 C Kelsen Johnson (Newsome HS, FL)
Physical frame with present strength throughout. Above average instincts and shows lots of confidence as a defender behind the plate. Strong wrists, sticks his spots. Deadens balls in the dirt and keeps it in front of him. Strong throws to the bag, threw out a couple runners with pop times in the 1.90-1.96 seconds range. Also stood out offensively where he got ahold of one and crushed a ball to deep left-center field for a triple.
2021 LHP Dillon Masters (Inspiration Academy, FL)
Long, tall frame with room to fill out. Loose, quick arm with more in the tank. Featured a fastball that sat 85-86 mph with his fastball, touching 87 with life. Looked to work low and away in the zone. Also mixed in a 76-77 mph changeup, throwing it for strikes.
2021 IF Sonny Peluchette (Inspiration Academy, FL)
Solid frame with a strong lower half. Offensively he created loud, hard contact during batting practice and drove the ball with intent. Above average bat speed and looks to impact the baseball out in front with strong hands through the zone.
2021 MIF/RHP Eudy Medina (Inspiration Academy, FL)
Really stood out offensively over the weekend as he displayed present bat speed from the right side with the ability to drive the ball deep into the gaps. During game action he laced one up the middle for a hard ground ball single in one of his at-bats. Also hopped on the mound and featured a knuckleball that created weak contact and off balance swings.
2022 MIF Tyler Lambert (Bonita Springs HS, FL)
Lean, athletic build with room to fill out. Loose, quick hands through the zone and works in rhythm, finding the barrel. Was able to drive the ball gap-to-gap with several line drives being ripped right back up the middle. The frame projects for additional power as he continues to strengthen his frame.
2021 OF/1B Ben Murrell (Olympia HS, FL)
Lean, athletic frame with room to still fill out. Stood out offensively where he displayed Preston juice to the pulls side with lid, hard contact when he squares it up. Creates backspin and the ball really jumps off the bat as he launched several deep into left and left-center field.
2021 C Ivan Vega (Leadership Christian Academy, FL)
Strong, durable frame to log plenty of innings behind the plate. Was one of the top defensive backstops on the weekend as he threw out multiple runners during game action with strong, accurate throws to the bag with carry. Receives well with a quick release and pop times ranging in the 1.97-2.01 seconds range.
2021 C Ty Bitman (TNXL Academy Tampa, FL)
Had a strong weekend offensively during game action as he had a line drive base hit to right field and then followed that up by driving one back up the middle for a line drive single. Present feel for the barrel, makes solid contact. Above average defender behind the plate who registered pop times in the 2.06-2.09 seconds range.
2021 C Camden Gay (TNXL Academy, FL)
Athletic frame with a strong lower half. Was one of the better overall backstops on the weekend, making an impact both offensively and defensively. At the plate he showed off easy bat speed and laced one up the middle for a single during game action. Behind the plate he displayed above average catch/throw skills with a quick release and kept everything in front of him. Pop times in the 1.98-2.02 seconds range.
2021 C Collin Nelson (Nature Coast Tech, FL)
Physical frame with a strong lower half. Very quick hands through the zone from the left side and creates loud, hard contact. Utilizes his strong lower half to impact the baseball, driving it with intent to the pull side. Registered one of the top exit velocities of the event at 98 mph off the bat. Any ball hit into the gap has a chance to be an extra base hit for how hard it comes off the bat. Registered pop times in the 1.97-2.03 seconds range.
2022 C/RHP Ryan Gargett (Inspiration Academy, FL)
Tall, strong frame who really stood out offensively, displaying big power potential. During batting practice he consistently barreled it up for hard contact as the ball really jumped off the bat. Registered one of the top exit velocities at 95 mph. During game action he crushed a ball off the left field sign at 415 feet. Power bat to follow moving forward.
2021 RHP Justin Gay (Central HS, FL)
Extra large frame standing at 6-foot-6 with room to still fill out. More in the tank. Featured an 86-88 mph fastball, touching 89 while mixing in a 67-68 mph curveball with depth and a 74-75 mph changeup he was able to generate swings and misses on. There’s plenty to project on with Gay and should be a quality add to a program looking to add a pitcher with upside.
