Top 5 2025s

2025 C/IF Mitchell Rodriguez (Lakeland Christian, FL)

FSU commit. Strong lower half. Impressive batting practice rounds as usual as he displayed easy bat speed from the left side with a present feel for the barrel, driving the ball deep into right, right-center field with ease. Really works in rhythm and trusts his hands through the zone. Registered a top exit velocity of 97 mph. Confident approach, suited to drive in lots of runs in the heart of the order. Very strong follow.

2025 RHP Peyton Rutledge (Lakeland Christian, FL)

Uncommitted. Present physicality throughout. During game action he came out pounding the zone in his inning of work, running the fastball up to 86 mph. Mostly sat 83-85 with life, working both sides of the plate. Mixed in a 75-76 mph changeup and a 73-74 mph curveball with depth. Had multiple strikeouts in the inning. More in the tank, strong follow.

2025 RHP Smith Wortham (Palm Harbor University HS, FL)

Uncommitted. Strong lower half. Loose arm with more in there. Featured a fastball up to 85 mph, mostly sitting 82-84 with run. Also mixed in a 75-76 mph changeup with fade and a 64-65 mph curveball that displayed depth, shape. Simple windup. Expect to see a jump in velocity in the near future.

2025 IF/RHP Riley McDonald (Dixie Hollins HS, FL)

Uncommitted. Tall, psychical frame. Put put on an impressive display of power during his batting practice rounds, driving the ball off both the left field and left-center field wall. Ball really jumps off the bat and can drive it with intent. Two-way prospect who has also been in the upper 80s on the mound too. Strong follow.

2025 IF Ty Woodring (Clearwater HS, FL)

Uncommitted. Possesses some present strength throughout. Stood out offensively when he put together a pair of standout rounds of batting practice, driving the ball deep into center field, left-center field. Creates loud, hard contact. Still room to fill out his frame which should translate to additional jumps in power.
