2021s
RHP/IF Ty Greene (Apopka HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Really stood out during the weekend. On the mound, he works with an up-tempo pace and releases from a lower deceptive arm slot. Fastball sat 86-89 mph with run while mixing in a 69-72 mph curveball and 73-74 mph changeup. Offensively, he displayed present bat speed from the right side with a whippy swing through the zone, consistently making contact and driving the ball. Greene shouldn’t be uncommitted for too much longer as he showed multiple ways he can impact the lineup.
OF Matthew Prevesk (Apopka HS, FL)
The Florida commit continues to be a top offensive follows in his class as he easily laced the ball all over the field during batting practice. Easy bat speed from the left side and really works in rhythm. There’s still more gap-to-gap power to come as he continues to strengthen his frame. Confident approach. Above average athleticism.
RHP/IF Bobby Boser (Wiregrass Ranch HS, FL)
USF commit. Had an impressive inning on the mound running his fastball up to 91 mph while sitting 88-90. Also mixed in a 73-74 mph curveball with sharp break and depth. Pounded the strike zone. Really can swing it as well with a present feel for the barrel from the right side as he peppered the gaps with hard hit line drives during batting practice. Boser is a legit two-way prospect at the next level.
RHP Dylan Luna (Central Pointe Christian, FL)
Hillsborough Community college commit. Long, lean frame with more to come as he continues to fill out. Showed a fast arm during his bullpens, running his fastball up to 90 mph and sitting 88-89. Ball really jumps out of his hand.
IF Franco Garcia (Monsignor Edward Pace HS,FL)
Uncommitted. Athletic frame with a stronger lower half. Showed above average instincts in the field.Bounces around the infield, shows confident hands, vocal. Offensively, he displayed above average bat speed as he ripped a ball past the SS for a hard hit line drive during the game.
2022s
OF Elijah Green (IMG Academy, FL)
The Miami commit continued to show why he may be regarded as one of if not the top prospect in his class nationally. During batting practice Green homered over the left field, center field, and right field wall during one round. This was seen on the field recently as he homered multiple times during the Area Code Games against some of the top competition in the country. The athleticism is off the charts and the sky is really the limit as he continues to develop and mature. Big time talent.
IF Christian Soto (Central Pointe Christian, FL)
FIU commit. Has noticeably leaned out, added additional strength, and become more athletic which has translated offensively. Quick hands through the zone from the right side with a present feel for the barrel, looking to drive the ball gap-to-gap. The ball came off the bat with intent and there’s still more power to unlock. Trending upwards.
RHP Drew Hunt (Jesuit HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Long, lean frame at 6-foot-5, 195 pounds with plenty of room to fill out. Mostly sat 86-87 mph with his fastball, but there’s more to come soon as the ball really jumps out of his hand. Loose, quick arm. Also mixed in a nasty 67-68 mph curveball with hard break when he was on top of it. Look for Hunt to make a big jump soon.
C Schyler Arroyo (Hagerty HS, FL)
Bethune-Cookman commit. Made his presence felt everywhere all throughout the weekend, even at bullpens on Friday night as he continually went down and blocked the ball, keeping everything in front of him. Receives well and sticks his spots. Plays with a high motor. Spark plug in the lineup. During one of his at-bats he smoked a ball deep into the right-center field gap for an easy standup double. Great teammate who is one of those players who makes everyone around him better.
2023s
MIF Logan Chapman (Lake Brantley HS, FL)
Uncommitted. One of the top performers in his class throughout the weekend. Offensively, he has loose, quick hands through the zone that stays in the zone a long time for loud, hard contact. Really stays balanced throughout and looks to drive the ball deep into the gaps. Also impressed defensively as he fielded the ball under control and with confidence up the middle, topping out at 88 mph across the diamond which had accuracy and carry. Strong follow.
MIF Alex Brazer (Riverview HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Has become much more physical, especially in his lower half as he drove the baseball with intent during batting practice for loud, hard hits into the gaps. Easy bat speed from the right side and generated power from his lower half. Defensively he ranges freely to his right and left making the plays with a strong and accurate throw to the bag. Strong uncommitted follow.
MIF Trey Miranda (TNXL Academy Tampa, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame with plenty of room to fill out and strengthen his frame. The switch hitting middle infielder shows present bat speed from both sides of the plate and drives the ball gap-to-gap. As he continues to mature, looks for jumps in gap-to-gap power. Defensively he shows confident hands with an accurate throw to the bag.
IF Austin Olander (Cardinal Mooney HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Strong, solid frame. Stood out offensively as he made lots of loud, hard contact during batting practice. Ball really jumps off the bat with some present strength and juice to the pull side. Middle of the order type hitter. Also displayed solid actions defensively around the bag at first. Strong bat to follow.
IF Anthony Cole (Montverde Academy, FL)
Uncommitted. Immediately stands out with his tall, athletic frame. Put on an impressive couple rounds of batting practice as he laced the ball deep into the gaps for loud line drives. There’s big gap-to-gap power potential. When he squares it up the ball really travels. Defensively, he makes the plays and profiles as a corner infidler with juice. Strong bat to follow.
IF Luis Rivero (Hagerty HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame with room to fill out at 6-foot, 165 pounds. Stood out offensively over the weekend as he displayed above average bat speed during batting practice which translated to the game where he went 3-for-3. Really seems comfortable in the box and takes a smart at-bat, looking for his pitch to drive. Makes the plays with accurate throws to the bag up the middle.
RHP John Abraham (Jesuit HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Tall, projectable frame with more in the tank. During the game on Sunday he sat 82-83 mph with his fastball, touching 84 while mixing in a 72-73 mph curveball with sharp break. Quick arm and looks to jump on the batter early with a first pitch strike. Expect to see an uptick in velocity fairly soon.
2024s
RHP/IF Schuyler Sandford (Bartram Trail HS, FL)
Recently committed to Florida State shortly after the event. Sandford is a big arm to follow as he has a tall, projectable frame at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds with a high ceiling. Much more to come as he continues to fill out. Sat 83-84 mph with his fastball that showed life while mixing in a 74-75 mph curveball with tighter spin. Works out of a simple, repeatable windup and pitches with confidence. Also displayed some present bat speed from the right side with above average defensive actions around the bag at first. His future is on the mound and is a strong 2024 follow.
MIF Adonys Velez (Home School, FL)
Recently committed to Florida State shortly after the event. Athletic frame with above average instincts. Smooth, athletic actions up the middle and moves with ease. Confident hands and fields the ball under control with a quick release. Present bat speed from the right side of the plate. Frame that projects for more power and should stick up the middle. Strong follow.
