Standouts (Part 1 of 3)
2025 MIF Johnny Iaciofano (Park Vista HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Shows quick hands and a present feel for the barrel from the left hand side of the plate. Sprays the ball all over the field, driving the ball where it’s pitched. There’s still more power to unlock too as he continues to fill out. Confident defender up the middle, accurate throws across the diamond.
2025 OF Ja’Brien Quiles (Parrish Community HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Stood out from the left hand side offensively, producing in-game with a standup double that was laced over the center fielder’s head. Strong, quick hands through the zone and drives the ball with intent, creates backspin. Physical lower half. Accurate throws to the bag.
2026 C Anthony Iaciofano (Park Vista HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Uncommitted. Loose, easy working hands from the left side that not only produced hard line drives back up the middle and to the pull side, but demonstrated the ability to go the other way as well. Look for jumps in power as he continues to fill out his athletic frame. Above average arm behind the plate that resulted in confident pop times in the low 1.9s.
2026 LHP/OF Carter Cox (Venice HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Was impressive in his outing, striking out multiple batters during game action. Loose, easy working arm with more in the tank. Features a fastball that sits in the mid 80s along with a low 70s curveball with depth and a 76-77 mph changeup. Repeats well and pounds the strike zone. Can really get into a groove and put away a lineup.
2026 IF Boston Allard (Venice HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Works from a wide base and a simple approach offensively. Shows the ability to drive the ball gap-to-gap for hard line drives. Still more power to unlock as he continues to fill out. Confident defender who fields the ball under control with accurate throws.
2026 C Will Kane (Bishop Moore Catholic, FL)
Uncommitted. Present physicality throughout, most notably in the lower half. This was seen during batting practice where he launched multiple deep drives into left, left-center field. A few ended up going over the wall, showing his present power. Middle of the order bat suited to drive in runs. Accurate throws to the bag from behind the plate.
2026 RHP/OF MJ Hough (Lake Placid HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Shows real potential on the mound as he releases from a lower 3/4 slot, creates movement on his pitches. Featured a fastball up to 87 mph (mostly 84-86) along with a 78-79 mph slider with depth and a mid 70s changeup. Pounds the strike zone and there's still more in there. Topped out at 88 mph on his throws from right field. Offensively he displayed present bat speed from the right side, producing hard line drives back up the middle and to the pull side. Strong follow.
2027 OF/RHP RJ Shields (Venice HS, FL)
Uncommitted. Shows real potential as a two-way prospect. Fast, strong hands from the left hand side that allows him to drive the ball gap-to-gap for hard line drives. Up to 86 mph with his fastball on the mound while displaying a present feel for his off-speed as well. Big arm from the outfield, topping out at 91 mph on his throws. Very strong follow.
2029 SS Mac Carey (FL)
Above average feel for the game in multiple ways for his age. Very fundamentally sound up the middle defensively with strong and accurate throws across the diamond. Offensively the ball explodes off his bat with loose, fast hands. This translated to in-game action, lacing a ball into deep to left field for a stand-up double. He then followed that up with another double into the left-center field. On the mound he showcased a fastball at 79-80 mph, topping out at 82. Very strong follow moving forward.
