2024 MIF/RHP Antonio Socarras (Coral Reef HS, FL)

Recent Pittsburgh commit. Currently stands at 5-foot-10, 175 pounds on an athletic frame with present physicality throughout, strong, lean muscle to his frame. Was one of the top standouts on the weekend as he showed off big time arm strength up the middle as he topped out at 96 mph across the diamond with multiple throws at 92 and 93. Ranges freely to his right and left. Offensively he displayed fast hands and an aggressive approach to the ball. Consistently registered 90+ mph exit velocity readings with a top of one of 96 during batting practice. Ball really jumps off the bat for hard hit line drives. Barreled a few up for deep drives to the left-center field wall.  This translated to game action where he laced one down the left field line for a standup RBI double. Very strong follow.

2024 IF Cayden Hessemyer (Steinbrenner HS, FL)

Was one of the top overall standouts as he produced lots of hard hit line drives into the gaps, flashed pull side power as well during batting practice. Loose, quick hands through the zone. This translated to game action where he laced one into right-center field for a RBI double. Strong, accurate throws across the diamond that topped out at 90 mph. Strong follow as he continues to develop.
