Day 2
2022 MIF Jack Owens (Ostinger Baseball Academy)
Stetson commit. Currently ranked No. 53 in Florida, No. 309 Nationally. Made his presence felt at the top of the order again, driving this one up the middle for an infield single, then stole second during the next at-bat.
2022 RHP Ethan Phillips (Clearwater Warriors)
Unranked. Quick arm, works with an up-tempo delivery. More room to fill out. Fastball was 80-83 mph, touching 84 while mixing in a 64-65 mph curveball with shape, inducing swings and misses along with a 74-75 mph change up.
2022 C Brody Donay (Ostinger Baseball Academy)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 117 in Florida. Continued to stand out offensively. Stays balanced throughout and laced one into the left-center field gap for an RBI single and then followed it up in his next at-bat with a solo home run over the left field wall. Makes hard contact. Really swung a hot bat over the weekend. Strong follow.
2022 RHP/OF Pablo Torres (FTB)
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 51 in Florida, No. 290 Nationally. Came in to close and sat 83-86 mph, touching 87 with his fastball while mixing in a 77-78 mph slider with depth. Deception throughout his delivery, quick arm.
2024 1B Logan Mitcheltree (Scorpions South)
Really stands out with his 6-1, 175 pound frame. Drove a ball deep into the right-center field gap for an easy standup double from the left side. Lots more to come with big power potential to the pull side.
2023 IF Deven Gonzalez (Florida Baseball Heaven)
Unranked. Spark plug at the top of the lineup for Florida Baseball Heaven. Quick hands in the box, laced a ball down the left field line twice for two easy standup doubles. Heads up base runner, aggressive. Shows plenty of quick twitch athleticism. Confident approach.
2024 RHP Aden Knowles (Next Level Prospects Blue)
There is plenty of growth and maturity still to occur, but this young righty will be one to watch as he progresses. Long, lanky frame currently at 6-1, 150 with a loose, easy working arm. Exclusively used a fastball that sat 77-80 mph, touching 81.
2024 IF Domenic Fernandez (Next Level Prospects Blue)
Stood out up the middle defensively. Shows bounce in his step, sure hands, quick twitch athleticism, and makes the tough plays. Gamer.
2024 MIF/RHP Braeden Weckman (Next Level Prospects Blue)
Athletic two-way who showed some feel for the barrel and quick hands through the zone as he smoked a ball over the SS for a line drive single. Athletic frame with plenty of room to fill out at 6-0, 165. Also been up to 80 on the mound.
2023 C Branson Ashley (Florida Baseball Heaven)
Unranked. Really barreled it up all day. After an extra base hit in the gap, he followed it up with a deep fly ball over the center fielder’s head for a two-run triple. Ball jumps off the bat.
